CSKA goal machine Karanga joins China's Henan Jianye

The 27-year-old, who quickly became a fans' favourite after joining CSKA in February 2017, scored 29 goals in 39 Bulgarian league appearances. He was named Best Forward and Best Foreign Player in the league last year.

CSKA did not disclose the transfer fee they received for Karanga, although Bulgarian media reports said it was nearly 4 million euros ($4.67 million).

"Due to a confidentiality clause in the signed contract, we can not announce the terms, but we assure you that the amount we will receive from the sale of Karanga satisfies the club's requirements," CSKA said in a statement, addressed to their fans.
