THREE minutes added time to play!
Close! Bayern may not be finished yet. Davies wins a free-kick, 25 yards out in a central area. Muller lifts his shot over the wall but just narrowly wide of Hitz's far post.
Five minutes for Dortmund to level the scores. On the balance of the game, their performance warrants at least a penalty shootout.
- OffJavi MartínezFC Bayern Munich
- OnJamal MusialaFC Bayern Munich
Bayern subs: Musiala and Zirkzee replace Martinez and Lewandowski.
GOAL! Bayern Munich 3-2 Dortmund (Kimmich): Bayern are back in front! And this could be the match-winner! Delaney is caught dwelling in possession, Lewandowski's cross finds Kimmich, whose shot is saved by Hitz, but he somehow manages to hook it in on the rebound!
Dortmund have been impressive in both defence and attack in the second half, it has to be said. Piszczek is well positioned to clear following a dangerous Richards cross.
Bayern know how to grind out victories. They were taken to extra-time by Sevilla in the UEFA Super Cup last week and won that. This contest will go straight to penalties if level after 90 minutes, though.
- OffJulian BrandtBorussia Dortmund
- OnJude BellinghamBorussia Dortmund
Dortmund sub: Jude Bellingham comes on to become the youngest ever player to feature in the Super Cup, replacing Brandt.
- OffBenjamin PavardFC Bayern Munich
- OnChris RichardsFC Bayern Munich
Bayern sub: Chris Richards replaces Pavard in defence.
Signs of improvement from Bayern, as Pavard wins a free-kick on the right after Dahoud commits the foul. Kimmich's delivery is headed clear, though.
- OffMarco ReusBorussia Dortmund
- OnGiovanni ReynaBorussia Dortmund
Dortmund sub: A third change for Reus, who is replaced by highly-rated Giovanni Reyna.
Just wide! There is acres of space down Bayern's right side! Reiner releases Passlack who shoots just wide, but the offside flag was raised.
- OffErling HaalandBorussia Dortmund
- OnReinierBorussia Dortmund
Dortmund sub: A rather strange change as Haaland is replaced by Reinier.
- OffThomas MeunierBorussia Dortmund
- OnNico SchulzBorussia Dortmund
Dortmund sub: Meunier, who hasn't had the best of games all considered, is replaced by Nico Schulz.
- Yellow cardLucas HernándezFC Bayern Munich
Yellow card! Haaland is clattered by Hernandez, and the Dortmund striker is really taking this game by the scruff of the neck!
This is a good spell for Bayern in what has been a disastrous second-half for Flick's side.
Who saw this coming? Dortmund could be 4-2 up at this stage!
What a chance! You would put your money on Haaland to score here! The Dortmund hitman is sent through on goal once more but this time Neuer makes a world-class save to deny him!
Wow, what a turnaround in this contest! But now Bayern have a free-kick on the left flank as Meunier fouls Lewandowski. Kimmich's delivery is poor, though, and it's catching practice for Hitz.
- GoalErling HaalandBorussia Dortmund
GOAL! Bayern Munich 2-2 Dortmund (Haaland): Dortmund are level! Haaland, who was a bystander in the first half, races onto Delaney's through ball and without even glancing up he side-foots past Neuer!
- OffKingsley ComanFC Bayern Munich
- OnSerge GnabryFC Bayern Munich
Bayern sub: Serge Gnabry comes on for Coman.
Dortmund stretch the Bayern defence once more as the ball is released to Brandt on the right. His first touch is heavy, though, allowing Sule to rescue the situation.
Maybe, maybe not. But they have been much the better side since the restart.
Will that huge miss come back to bite Dortmund?
What a miss! Oh my, Meunier. That is awful! Dortmund carve open the Bayern defence, with Dahoud sweeping a pass to his right. Meunier is through on goal but blasts it a mile over the bar!
- 2nd Half
Kick-off! The second-half gets underway!
But Brandt has given Dortmund hope...
- End of 1st Half
Half-time: There is no injury-time and the players head for the tunnel with Bayern leading 2-1 at the break!
Dortmund continue to give the ball away all too cheaply in the centre of the park.
That was Brandt's first goal since January 18 when he scored against Augsburg.
- GoalJulian BrandtBorussia Dortmund
GOAL! Bayern Munich 2-1 Dortmund (Brandt): Oh, game on! No one saw this coming. Pavard misplaces a pass out from the back and after three passes, Dortmund punish him. Reus quickly feeds Haaland whose beautifully-weighted pass sets up Brandt and he finishes with conviction.
Bayern break from another Dortmund corner! Davies and Coman combine well but Dortmund get the men back to recover.
Dortmund are lacking in confidence, clearly. They're continuing to play out from the back, but Dahoud's attempted pass to Meunier runs of play for a throw-in to gift Bayern back possession.
It's all falling apart for Dortmund. Haaland is looking increasingly frustrated and isolated in attack and defensively it's all a bit of a shambles.
- GoalThomas MüllerFC Bayern Munich
GOAL! Bayern Munich 2-0 Dortmund (Muller): Davies' deep cross is beautiful and picks out the late run of Muller. He rises above Passlack to cushion his header into the bottom corner. It's too easy!
Coman's pace is frightening. He beats Meunier to the ball and switches the play to Pavard. His cross-cum-shot is deflected behind for a Bayern corner.
Chance! End-to-end stuff here at the Allianz! Dortmund work a nice move, Reus opens up the space for a shot but takes too long to unload and when he does Neuer gets down low to make the save.
Save! Bayern are back on the attack, with Kimmich opening up the space for a shot from distance. It's straight at Hitz, who parries it clear.
Close from Dortmund! Delaney delivers a cross to the back post from the right flank, it's fed back to Dahoud, who leans back and shoots over the edge of the box.
It's the same old story, isn't it? Dortmund have played some nice, intricate football, but not enough to hurt Bayern and Flick's men have punished them.
- GoalCorentin TolissoFC Bayern Munich
GOAL! Bayern Munich 1-0 Dortmund (Tolisso): An from Dortmund's corner, Bayern break the deadlock! Davies does brilliantly to find Muller in the middle of the patch. He switches it wide to Lewandowski, who centres it and Tolisso slots it home!
Side-netting! Reus is causing problems tonight. He flashes a shot at goal, but Martinez makes a vital challenge which deflects it behind for a corner.
Bayern stretch Dortmund defensively to win a corner, but Kimmich's delivery - placed right on top of the keeper - is dealt with.
Bayern get fortunate! Davies fails to clear his lines and his unconvincing header causes panic in the penalty box. Martinez beats Meunier to the ball, however, and wins the free-kick to take the pressure off.
Save! Hitz is called into action for the first time this evening. It's a comfortable stop though as Kimmich fails to generate much power on his header from Pavard's right-flank cross and it's straight at the Dortmund deputy 'keeper.
Bayern are also focusing their attacks on the flanks, mostly on the left where Davies and Coman are causing quite a bit of trouble for Meunier.
It hasn't been a bad start from Dortmund, who are using the width well and seeing plenty of the ball in the wide areas.
Oh how we all miss supporters at football matches...
Vintage Reus there. He ghosts past one Bayern defender as he bursts into the penalty area but is crowded out just as he's about to pull the trigger.
Close! Bayern launch the first attack of the night, Lewandowski dropping into a deep area and switching it to Davies on the left. The wideman would have wanted Lewandowski in the box to contest his delicious cross, though, as he watches it evade everyone in the middle.
- 1st Half
Kick-off! Bayern get us underway in the Super Cup!
FIVE minutes until kick-off at the Allianz Arena!
I would talk about Jadon Sancho to Manchester United, but we're all pretty bored of that, aren't we? Let's watch the highlights of last year's Super Cup!
Pre-match stat: Bayern are contesting the Supercup for the 14th time. They are the record seven-time winners and six-time runners-up.
Dortmund also come into this contest licking their wounds after a shock 2-0 loss at Augsburg on Saturday. It was obviously offset by Bayern's defeat, but there have been questions asked about Lucien Favre's tactics, nonetheless.
After a run of 23 consecutive victories - en route to Champions League, Bundesliga and DFB Cup trophies - who thought it would be Hoffenheim that would end Bayern's winning-streak? They made short work of them, too.
Now, Dortmund. Marvin Hitz starts in goal as Roman Burki is missing with injury. Marco Reus makes his first start since February and he's joined in midfield by Julian Brandt who is also restored to the team. Jadon Sancho is missing with a respiratory problem, although his club have confirmed it is not Covid-19.
Leroy Sane is missing with a knee injury sustained in Bayern's barely believable 4-1 defeat to Hoffenheim at the weekend. Leon Goretzka is absent with a back injury, while David Alaba is out with a muscular problem. The good news for the champions is that Kingsley Coman is back in the starting XI.
Bayern XI: Neuer, Pavard, Süle, Martinez, Hernandez, Kimmich, Tolisso, Coman, Müller, Davies, Lewandowski.. subs: Nübel, Gnabry, Zirkzee, Boateng, Alaba, Fein, Tillman, Richards, Musiala. /// Dortmund XI: Hitz - Can, Hummels (c), Akanji - Meunier, Dahoud, Delaney, Passlack - Brandt, Reus - Haaland.. subs: Drljaca, Guerreiro, Schulz, Reinier, Bellingham, Piszczek, Wolf, Witsel, Reyna
Good evening and welcome to Eurosport's LIVE text commentary of the DFL-Supercup and first Der Klassiker of the season as Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund lock horns after a miserable weekend for both. Who will bounce back to take the silverware? Kick-off is in 45 minutes, team news, next!
