Dodoo makes Blackpool loan switch

Rangers forward Joe Dodoo has joined Blackpool on a season-long loan deal.

The 22-year-old, who gained League One experience while on loan at Charlton last season, told Blackpool’s official website: “I’m delighted to be here.

“I spoke to the manager and he told me what he’s trying to achieve this season, and I like the sound of it. It’s a good club and I can’t wait to get started.”

Seasiders boss Gary Bowyer added: “Joe is a fantastic signing for us and I would like to thank Rangers for allowing him to join for the season.

“He can play in a variety of positions across the front line and adds pace, power and goals to the side. We’re really excited to work with him.”
