Centre-back Pepe comes back from injury, replacing Bruno Alves. Meanwhile William Carvalho is preferred in central midfield to Danilo. Star man Cristiano Ronaldo starts as expected up front alongside Nani.
Didier Deschamps has stuck with the same France XI that beat Germany 2-0 in the semi-finals. That means no place for N'golo Kante, despite suggestions he might replace Dimitri Payet whose form has dipped since the group stage.
FRANCE: Lloris; Sagna, Koscielny, Umtiti, Evra; Sissoko, Pogba, Matuidi, Payet; Griezmann, Giroud.
PORTUGAL: Rui Patricio; Cedric, Pepe, Fonte, Guerreiro; Silva, W Carvalho, Sanches, Joao Mario; Nani, Ronaldo.
