Full-time: Austria finally win in the European Championships. It looks a comfortable victory but they really had to work hard to fight off the challenge of an inspired North Macedonia side.

Lainer has the chance for his brace but Dimitrievski is off his line quickly to take the ball from his feet.

GOAL! Austria 3-1 North Macedonia (Marko Arnautovic): That will settle it! Arnautovic takes this goal really well, playing a nice give-and-go with a team mate before rounding the goalkeeper and slotting it into an empty net.

North Macedonia sub: A final roll of the dice as Musliu makes way for Milan Ristovski, the brother of Stefan Ristovski, who is playing in defence.

Yellow card! Lainer crashes into Ademi and goes into the book for a cynical foul.

North Macedonia sub: Trichkovski comes on for Bardhi as they go ultra-attacking in search of a second equaliser.

The relief is palpable for Austria. A draw would have been a desperately disappointing result for Franco Foda's side but now they have their noses back in front with just 10 minutes remaining.

GOAL! Austria 2-1 North Macedonia (Michael Gregoritsch): Gregoritsch scores to break Austria hearts! It's a wicked delivery from Alaba, now playing on the left, Gregoritsch makes a run across the goalkeeper and sidefoots it home. Austria are now on course for their first-ever win at a European Championship.

Block! Ristovski heads clear Lainer's cross and here come North Macedonia on the counter-attack... Alioski delivers a low cross but Hinteregger makes an important block to deny Elmas.

North Macedonia aren't just happy to play for a draw - they want a winner. Bejtulai races down the right and his cross falls into the path of Alioski, whose effort is blocked.

Alaba is in the right place at the right time to take the ball from Elmas, who had been played through by Alioski's fine pass.

One or two signs that North Macedonia are growing tired now as they give up possession cheaply. Austria can't take advantage as Schlager scuffs his effort wide of goal from 25 yards.

Fine save! Dimitrievski is at full stretch to keep Gregoritsch's header out! It was a fine attacking move from Austria involving Arnautovic, but the scores remain level at 1-1.

Double sub: That will be Nikolov's last contribution as he is replaced by Egzon Bejtulai while Tihomir Kostadinov comes on for Trajkovski.

Good save! Much better goalkeeping from Bachmann to deny North Macedonia the lead! He's off his line quickly to make the block from Nikolov's goalbound shot.

Austria are having plenty of the ball again but they're really struggling to break down this resolute North Macedonia defence. Can former West Ham striker Arnautovic make the difference?

Double subs: Kalajdzic makes way for Arnautovic while Baumgartner is replaced by Michael Gregoritsch.

Austria are probing and have North Macedonia penned back in their own half at the moment. Kalajdzic nods down a header but the loose ball falls to a defender rather than one of his team mates. Moments later, goalkeeper Dimitrievski plucks Hinteregger's cross out of the air to take the pressure from his team mates - but he has hurt himself in the process and requires medical treatment.
