Yellow card! Croatia are going to have one final chance after Hlozek concedes a free-kick in a wide position and earns himself a booking for a foul on Petkovic... but it comes to nothing, and that should be that.

90'

Czech Republic deal with not one but two Modric corners. And there's going to be THREE minutes of added-time to play at the end of this Group D encounter.

89'

Kalas stays close to Petkovic and blocks his shot - at the expense of a corner. Concentration is key now if Czech Republic are to hold on for the draw.

85'

Perisic shows too much of the ball to Coufal as another Croatian attack breaks down. We're into the last five minutes...

83'

The resulting free-kick is disappointing to say the least, as Modric curls a harmless cross into the box and Czech Republic comfortably clear. Seven left here, plus whatever is added on.

  • Jan Boril

Free-kick and yellow card! Boril has his name taken for a cynical foul to stop Petkovic who was leading a Croatian counter-attack. Czech Republic have a free-kick 30 yards out.

79'

After a burst in the match for 15 minutes after the restart, the tempo of the game has really dropped off. Is there going to be a winner?

76'

Over! Hlozek snaps a first-time shot over the bar after Croatia failed to deal with a cross from the right. That's another half chance for the Czech Republic.

72'

Close! It's a chance for Croatia as Vlasic holds off his marker and gets a shot away from inside the penalty area but it's just a whisker over the bar.

71'

Gvardiol is available on the overlap and as he receives it, his only thought is to deliver a cross. But Celustka is well positioned and makes the intervention.

70'

Twenty minutes to find a winner...

-
69'

A draw doesn't really suit either side, to be honest. It would leave Czech Republic on four points and Croatia on one, but Dalic's side would fancy themselves to beat Scotland on Tuesday night, while England will be firm favourites to beat Czech Republic in the final group game.

66'

Darida's delivery is watched all the way by Livakovic, who comfortably catches the ball.

65'

After a spell of pressure from Croatia, Czech Republic have settled back into the contest and they're enjoying another spell, as they win another corner from the substitute Kral, whose cross is blocked by Modric.

61'

Souceck makes a run to the near post but Croatia scramble it behind for a corner. From the resulting set-piece, Darida's delivery is sent over by the West Ham man's head.

60'

Vrsaljko catches man before ball as he concedes a foul on the left flank. Here's another chance for Czech Republic as Darida stands over it...

58'

Block! Croatia look a totally different side since the restart, as Kramaric cuts in from the left and runs into space before rifling a shot at goal, but it's blocked by Celustka.

-
56'

Desperate defending from Croatia now as Coufal floats an inviting cross into a crowded penalty area but they manage to scramble the danger clear.

-

Have a look at Croatia's equaliser... They have their tails up now.

52'

Close! Soucek almost restores Czech Republic's lead with an ambitious shot that flashes just wide of the post.

51'

The substitutes have already made a huge impact for Croatia. There's much more bite in their midfield now.

Kick-off! A huge 45 minutes lie in wait for Croatia, who are staring at a premature exit from the competition unless they can turn this around.

Double Croatia sub: Dalic had to do something to create a spark and he's replacing Brekalo and Rebic with Luka Ivanusec and Bruno Petkovic.

HT

Half-time: Patrik Schick's penalty, given controversially, separates the sides at the break, as Czech Republic lead.

45'+4

Over! It's a desperately disappointing from Schick, who is certainly not lacking in confidence as he lifts the shot over the wall and well over the bar.

45'+3

Free-kick! Kovacic takes out Schick in a dangerous area and Czech Republic will have the chance to double their advantage with this set-piece from 25 yards out...

45'+1

There's a coming together between Vrsaljko and Jankto, with the latter going down quite theatrically.

45'

The referee has to intervene after Jankto and Vrsaliko have a word. Croatia are still clearly frustrated. There will be THREE minutes to be added on at the end of the first half.

44'

A lack of conviction from Kramaric as he scuffs a poor shot at goal.

41'

Croatia are still searching for their first goal of the tournament and they could really do with finding it before half-time which is now just a few minutes away.

-

Whether it should have been a penalty or not, Schick is now the competition's top goalscorer after his coolly taken penalty...

-
-
38'

Chance! Croatia have a golden opportunity to equalise immediately, as Czech Republic lose the ball cheaply in midfield. Rebic is ushered through... but slices his effort well wide.

GOAL! Croatia 0-1 Czech Republic (Patrik Schick): That man Schick again! He makes no mistake, tucking the ball into the bottom corner after sending Livakovic the wrong way. Czech Republic, albeit in controversial manner, have the lead.

35'

The penalty is given! Yes, Czech Republic are going to have a golden opportunity to break the deadlock here and Lovren is handed a yellow card into the bargain. The incident is shown on the big screen and the Croatia players are absolutely livid with the decision, surrounding the referee, but he's not going to change his mind.

34'

VAR check! But wait, the referee is going to the screen to have another look at this... Is he going to give Czech Republic a penalty? Was there any intention from Lovren? It didn't look like it...

33'

Jankto takes the corner short, exchanging a pass with Coufal before seeing his floated cross headed clear by Lovren. Play is then stopped to allow Schick to receive treatment for a bloodied nose after he was caught by Lovren.

32'

Soucek wins Czech Republic a corner. Can they make anything from it?

30'

After half an hour, we're still waiting for the game's first clear-cut opportunity. It's all been too slow so far, there's been no urgency from either side.

28'

More nice football from Croatia now, but Gvardiol's cross is deflected and once again Vaclik takes command of the situation, off his line quickly to claim.

-
25'

Croatia are beginning to find their rhythm now after a slow start, as Vrsaljko has the space to deliver a cross but Vaclik plucks it out of the air.

23'

Shot! After a half-hearted appeal for a Croatian penalty is ignored, Modric takes a short corner, it's worked to Perisic whose effort is saved by Vaclik.

21'

Whoops! A back pass is played into the feet of the Czech Republic goalkeeper Vaclik whose attempted clearance hits Rebic! It could land anywhere but loops just wide, and that's a let-off.

20'

Masopust believes he's in after a lovely ball from Soucek, he has time to assess his options but his cross from the right is cleared by Lovren, and then the offside flag goes up.

19'

Chance! You'd expect the net to bulge there as the ball drops to Schick inside the box at point-blank range, but he can't get the connection he wants to convert Coufal's cross from the right.

15'

Not the most exciting of contests so far, admittedly, and we could really do with a goal.

13'

Over! Coufal's cross is decent and Lovren can't grow enough to get a decent clearance on it. It drops to Jankto at the far post but his first-time volley is always rising. That's a real chance for Czech Republic.

-

My thoughts exactly...

10'

Kalas has two hands in the face of Rebic as he competes for a high ball, conceding a clumsy free-kick in a dangerous area. Lovren, of all players, takes the resulting set-piece but, quite inevitably, lifts it well over the bar. Quite why he took it I'll never know.

7'

Vaclik in the Czech Republic goal slices his clearance and it falls into the path of Perisic whose cross is just too strong for Rebic, but Coufal heads it behind for Croatia's first corner of the evening. The resulting delivery is catching practice for Vaclik.

5'

Lovren is well positioned to clear from Coufal's cross after the referee allowed play to continue despite Jantko appearing to be fouled in the build-up.

4'

Over! Soucek is the obvious target as Czech Republic win the first corner of the game. The West Ham midfielder rises highest but sees his header hit the roof of the net.

3'

It's Czech Republic who have started on the front foot, attacking down where left where Jantko floats a cross into the box. Croatia clear but only as far as Coufal on the edge of the penalty area, His shot is blocked by Vida.

Kick-off! Czech Republic, in their all white kit, get us underway in Glasgow!

16:55

There are just FIVE minutes until kick-off in this intriguing Group D clash. It's time for the national anthems...

16:50

Schick has eight goals in his last 11 international appearances and could prove a real handful for the Croatian defence if he can continue in such rich vein of form.

-

The engine in Croatia's midfield...

16:45

Zlatko Dalic, Croatia boss (per UEFA.com): "We have not been good lately in our attacking phase and that's something we need to improve; we need to be better in that. We need to be more vertical, more offensive and create more chances in attack."

Zlatko Dalic
16:40

The omens are good for Croatia - they have never lost in the second group stage match at the Euros or the World Cup - and they have never lost against the Czech Republic.

16:35

Patrik Schick (per UEFA.com): "Croatia will play much more with the ball, meaning we must be more thoroughat the back, be better in defence and try to keep them from having any opportunities. Because as soon as they get an opportunityI think they will be better at putting them away,in comparison with Scotland. So the key is to defend welland to take advantage of chances to break."

Patrik Schick
16:25

There are at least a few Croatia fans at Hampden...

16:15

There's just one alteration in the Czech Republic side as Tomas Holes comes in for Alex Kral at the centre of midfield. Patrick Schick, fresh from scoring a memorable brace against the Scots, leads the attack.

16:10

The big news for Croatia is that Dejan Lovren has been passed fit to start after recovering from a knee injury. He is one of two changes from the side that lost to England, with Josip Brekalo replacing Marcelo Brozovic. Ante Rebic is again the lone striker.

16:05
