Highlights

90+6'

Denmark are through to the semi-finals. What an effort this has been from them. Thanks for following the match with us.

90+5'

A fine connection from Barak after Kjaer cleared to 25 yards from goal but it fires a yard wide.

90+3'

Krmencik volleys high over the bar from the edge of the area.

90'

Six minutes of injury time to be played. The Czechs seem down and out but that will give them hope.

86'

Krmencik is booked after complaining that Vydra is not awarded a free kick when he goes to ground 20 yards from goal.

82'

A great chance for Maehle who received a ball through from Jensen and had Braithwaite to square to for an open goal but tried to sneak the all inside Vaclik who saved well with his legs at the near post.

81'

Andersen and Jensen come off for Christensen and Delaney for Denmark.

80'

The last throw of the dice for the Czechs. Schick comes off for Vydra which is a surprise and Darida the skipper comes on for Sevcik. Schick did seem to be feeling his right hamstring as he came off.

79'

Lovely hit from Poulsen from the edge of the box after Wass played a ball to him just outside the penalty area but Vaclik dives high to his left to parry wide.

75'

Barak puts a dangerous inswinging cross into the box which Schmeichel deflects wide with a superman dive.

73'

Wass can only divert a header to Jankto at the back post and he drives a low ball towards the back post which Kjaer blocks with a firm clearance with danger for a moment of putting it into his own net.

71'

Wass replaces Larsen for Denmark.

68'

The Czechs have lost their momentum since the injury interruption and Poulsen nearly catches them out on the break shooting low to Vaclik's right from the edge of the box but the Czehc stopper dealt with it comfortably.

64'

The Czechs are walking wounded. Coufal has had his head bandaged and Celustka leaves the field with what appears to be a calf injury to be replaced by Brabec.

59'

Norgaard and Poulsen replace Damsgaard and Dolberg for Denmark.

55'

Schick tries to put a delicate ball through for Coufal in the box but it is just too far ahead of him.

52'

The substitutes combine as Jankto crosses for Kremencik ut he shoots just wide of the target. What an impact they've made.

49'

GOAL FOR CZECH REPUBLIC! A fantastic finish on the volley from Schick guiding home on the volley Soufal's cross leaving Schmeichel with no chance.

47'

Jankto also has an effort from the edge of the box which Schmeichel has to touch behind.

46'

Krmencik almost with a dream introduction firing an effort from 20 yards which Schmiechel could only parry away.

46'

The Czechs get us back underway with Krmencik and Jankto having come on to replace Holes and Masopust.

HALF TIME

Denmark have one foot in the semi-finals, Czech boss Jaroslav Silhavy will need to earn his money now.

45+1'

Mahle has an issue, just a few minutes after that glorious cross, as Soufal inadvertently landed on his ankle and he might not be back after half time.

44'

The Czechs have the ball back in the Danish half but look a little shell-shocked.

43'

GOAL FOR DENMARK! Dolberg scores a superb second meeting Mahle's superb cross with the outside of his right foot on the volley leaving Vaclik with no chance.

38'

Damsgaard runs unencumbered into the penalty area but his effort is to close to Vaclik who parries his shot away.

35'

Soufal's cross is met by Holes at the back post and he gets reasonable contact on the ball but it is straight at Schmeichel

34'

Chances at both ends as Schick just fails to get on the end of a Barak cross and then, on the break, Vaclik comes out to gather just in front of Larsen.

33'

It is all Czech Republic now, Sevcik is brought down on the right flank and Barak puts in a dangerous inswinging centre which Denmark clear.

30'

Another decent delivery into the box from Sevcik but the ball is just over the head of Celustka.

28'

Braithwaite is through on goal in the right hand side of the penalty area but fires wide at the near post.

26'

Soucek gets up for Schick's corner to the back post but directs it wide of the goal. He will feel he should have done better.

22'

Masopust drifts in from the right flank after collecting an errant kick out from Schmeichel and a diagonal ball is played into the path of Holes but the Danish keeper dives to parry the effort at goal.

20'

Soucek careers towards the ball from the corner but Christensen stands his ground and Denmark are awarded a free kick for a foul, with the ball deflecting wide anyway.

19'

Soufal plays the ball to Schick near the by-line just short of the six-yard box but miscontrols and wastes the chance.

17'

Another great chance for Delaney from a Larsen cross but he took his eye off the ball and it ricocheted off his knee and wide of the target.

15'

A chance for Sevcik on the volley but under pressure from Delaney he hits high over the bar.

13'

Great chance on the break from Damsgaard and he will feel he should have done better but the bouncing ball would not come down in time and though he guides the ball past Vaclik, the danger is cleared by Kalas.

12'

A lot better there, Schick with his first real touch of the game, comes in from the by-line breezing past Mahle and then sees an effort deflected wide.

11'

It has been a fantastic start from Denmark with the Czechs struggling to get any possession in the opposition half.

9'

The Czechs defended successive corners well. Lessons learned too late though.

8'

Lovely turn from Dolberg 25 yards from goal and his shot is deflected wide for a corner.

7'

More danger for the Czechs as Hojberg puts a fine centre into the box which Kalas just clears.

5'

GOAL FOR DENMARK! Delaney nods home a free header from the six-yard box. A perfect corner from Larsen and a well-placed header from Delaney but questions will be asked about the marking - and the corner.

4'

Denmark force the first corner. A dubious award, will be controversial if a goal eventuates.

1'

Denmark get us underway...

16:54

The anthems are underway, the game will be shortly...

16:45

Those historians amongst you will know this is the only one of the last eight clashes between former winners. The Czechs (with a healthy dose of Slovaks) took the trophy with the original Panenka, from Antonin Panenka, beating West Germany in 1976 in a penalty shoot-out and Denmark without their star-man Michael Laudrup, beat the much-fancied Netherlands and Germany to win in 1992.

16:37

Denmark go into the game as favourites at just over even money after two consecutive four-goal tallies against Russia and Wales. They were against Russia and Wales though. Is this more impressive than the Czech's 2-0 win over the Netherlands? I'm not sure. The Czech's are a 3/1 shot.

16:27

At a shade over 2/1, a draw looks a decent bet for this match. Especially when you take this into account.

16:21
16:14

Denmark have unsurprisingly retained the starting xi who destroyed Wales in the last round.

16:08

The Czech Republic welcome Jan Boril back into the starting xi after suspension, while skipper Vladimir Darida is on the bench after missing the last 16 clash due to suffering an injury in training.

15:59

This is the Czech XI who go into this clash as underdogs.

15:57

This is the Denmark XI who will take the field in Baku in just over an hour.
