Great play from Wijnaldum to stop an Austrian attack and then he gets a shot in at the other end, after a run from Dumfries, which is blocked.

A fine half for the Netherlands the only fault being they are not further in front.

Austria just cannot get close to putting the Netherlands under pressure. A real rethink needed at half time.

Wijnaldum with a poor shot this time after van Aanholt set him up in the penalty area but his tame effort was easily blocked.

What a miss! Depay with the goal gaping, after Weghorst unselfishly squared the ball following van Aanholt's superb diagonal ball, sidefoots high and wide of the target.

A long-range effort from Hinteregger was hit well but Stekelenburg could see it going over all the way.

Austria showing more quality in possession now.

De Ligt blocks an effort from Baumgartner with his head, before the ball bounces and collects him in a painful region.

Depay with a chace through on goal after another error from Alaba, he was from a fairly tight angle but his shot looked to have the keeper beaten at the near post only for it to swerve into the near side-netting.

The game looks very comfortable for the Dutch at present. Toying with Austria in possession.

Bit of a rash tackle from de Roon on Gregoritsch and he also picks up a yellow card.

GOAL FOR NETHERLANDS! Just a three-step run up for Depay before he slammed an unstoppable penalty low to the keeper's right.

De Vrij goes down under a challenge from Hinteregger and the referee waves lay on and then Dunfries is stood on by Alaba in the box - the referee is now going to look at the television.

Van Aanholt tried to slide in Weghorst but his pass is too strong.

Good burst into the box from Ulmer and he went down under a challenge from Dumfries but the referee rightly waved away the claim.

Depay looks to break into the left hand side of the penalty area but Laimer snuffs out the danger with a strong tackle.
