Good evening! Welcome to live coverage of Portugal versus Germany from the Allianz Arena in Munich. We’re into the fourth match of Group F here, and it’s beautifully poised. After losing their opening match to France, the Germans are on the brink already here. Another defeat could nudge them definitively towards the ignominy of another first round exit, to sit alongside their early departure from the 2018 World Cup in Russia. If Portugal administer that defeat, they’ll saunter through to the second round. Should Germany win however then we could be in for a right old nerve jangler in the final round of matches, particularly as Hungary have just held France 1-1 in Budapest. All to play for then, let’s get about it; teams from Munich incoming.

Peep peep, that's it! Germany win, and Group F is wide open.
90+4'
Ronaldo sashays through the inside right position and slides the ball to Silva in the area. His shot is blocked, and Portugal have a corner.
90+3'
Germany are casually knocking it around here, killing time. We're done in this one, and what a night we have in store on Wednesday.
90'
Ironic cheers from the German crowd as Ronaldo overruns the ball in the bottom right corner to give Germany a goal kick. We'll have a minimum of four more minutes.
89'
A long, diagonal cross from Sancho finds Pepe in the area. He heads back across goal dangerously and Germany scramble it behind for a corner.
88'
Semedo gets away down the right for Portugal and wins a corner.
87'
Another change for Germany, as Leroy Sane comes on for Gnabry.

CHANCE! Portugal cough the ball up in the German half, and are outnumbered; Goretzka leads a three on two break, running it to within 20 yards and then hosing his shot a yard over the bar.
80'
We were inches from this being a one goal game there. Portugal are snapping around at the heels of the German players here; you do wonder what might have happened had they started with this kind of intensity.
79'
OFF THE POST! Portugal work a corner short to Sanches. He utterly creams one from 25 yards out, which batters the post and flies back out with Neuer rooted. What a strike!
77'
Ginter absolutely flattens Jota in the middle of the German half, and is booked for his troubles.

Credit to Portugal here, they're not chucking this in. They're playing positive forward passes here, but can't quite get the ball in behind Germany.

Two more changes for Germany; Havertz and Gundogan off, Leon Goretzka and Niklas Sule on.
70'
Drinks break.
69'
If goal difference turns out to be a factor in Portugal's future, that might be more than the consolation it looks like at the moment; it's five for, four against in the tournament for them to date.

GOAL! Portugal 2 (Jota 67) Germany 4
Well now! The free kick from the left clears everyone. Ronaldo lunges at the back post to loop it back across goal, where Jota is waiting to tap in from millimetres out. It's VAR checked, but it stands; game on again?

Havertz scythes down Ronaldo and is booked for it.

Bruno Fernandes is hooked, and replaced by Joao Moutinho. Portugal look stunned here, and need to shore it up before it gets very embarrassing.

Gosens is being subbed, replaced by Marcel Halstenberg. I imagine Nelson Semedo will be relieved. Also going off is Hummels, replaced by Emre Can.
