FULL TIME: Slovakia 0-5 Spain
- Yellow cardMilan ŠkriniarSlovakia
Skriniar is shown a yellow card and that could be that for this match.
Sweden have scored! That is a big goal! Sweden have regained the lead against Poland and that means Spain will now finish second in Group E, setting up a clash with Croatia.
- OffMarek HamšíkSlovakia
- OnLászlo BénesSlovakia
Hamisk comes off and is replaced by Benes. Is that the last time he will play at a major tournament?
There will be four minutes of stoppage time played at the end of the match.
Oyarzabal shoots wide when he might have tested Dubravka with a more composed finish from a tight angle. Spain are finding much more dangerous positions this evening.
Sarabia shoots over. The PSG forward takes on the strike from the edge of the box, but that one is wayward. I'm sure Enrique will let him off with that given how he has played.
Poland equalise! That could be a big goal for Spain! Poland have pulled it back through Lewandowski! They are level with Poland and that means Spain could be set to top the group!
Of course, Spain have won the Euros before without playing a central striker (see Euro 2012). The problem here isn’t that they don’t have a striker. It’s that Morata is out of form.
Across the face! That could have been a sixth Spanish goal with Alba getting down the left side and firing a pass into the middle, but the cross flashed across the six yard box!
Traore stretches his legs! The Wolves winger bursts to the byline with his trademark pace, but there were no takers in the middle for his cross. In fairness, the ball was a bit strong.
- OffCésar AzpilicuetaSpain
- OnMikel OyarzabalSpain
And here's Oyarzabal as well for Spain as Enrique makes good use of his squad.
- OffGerard MorenoSpain
- OnAdama TraoréSpain
Another change for Spain and Traore comes on for his first appearance of Euro 2020.
Nobody is really sure how good Spain are at the moment. They were seen as one of the frontrunners by some before the start of the tournament. Is that still the case now? This has been a lot better.
Simon can be pretty pleased with how he has played at this tournament so far. There was a lot of pressure on the Athletic club goalkeeper before Euro 2020, but he’s made some big saves. None here, though. Not had to do anything.
- OffSergio BusquetsSpain
Thiago was also introduced for Spain a few moments ago.
- Own-goalJuraj KuckaSlovakia
GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAL! Slovakia 0 Spain 5 (72 mins - Pau Torres). Incredible! He's only been on the pitch for a matter of seconds and just like Ferran the other Torres, Pau, has found the back of the net! Although the final touch might have come off a Slovakian defender, but it doesn't matter. Spain have a fifth!
- OffLukáš HaraslínSlovakia
- OnTomas SuslovSlovakia
And teenager Suslov is also on for Slovakia to gain some experience.
- OffRóbert MakSlovakia
- OnVladimír WeissSlovakia
This game is gone for Slovakia, but Weiss is on for the final half hour.
- GoalFerran TorresSpain
GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAL! Slovakia 0 Spain 4 (67 mins - Ferran Torres). He's only been on the pitch for a matter of seconds, but Torres has found the back of the net! Sarabia was played to the byline by Pedri, he found Torres in the middle and the Manchester City attacker flicks beyond Dubravka! A very nice goal!
- OffÁlvaro MorataSpain
- OnFerran TorresSpain
Morata gets a good ovation from the Spanish crowd as Torres comes on for the final 25 minutes.
- Yellow cardJordi AlbaSpain
Alba is booked, but he won't be too worried about that. Spain in cruise control.
Good performance by Garcia!
The pressure had been on Enrique ahead of this match. While Spain will face tougher opponents and tests at Euro 2020, this has been a more typical display from them.
Two goals in the other game... Forsberg doubled his tally to put Sweden 2-0 up, but that was only moments before Lewandowski gave Poland a lifeline with a very nice finish. 2-1!
There is certainly a sense that Spain are in the midst of a generational transition. Gone are the likes of Iniesta, Ramos and Xavi. But there are some good young players coming through.
It's fair to say that some eyebrows were raised when Sarabia was included in the Spain lineup for this game, but the PSG forward has delivered when his country needed it most.
This has been better from Spain and there are signs that they are starting to relax and play some football. It's a long, long way back from here for Slovakia. Game over, surely.
- GoalPablo SarabiaSpain
GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAL! Slovakia 0 Spain 3 (57 mins - Pablo Sarabia). That is much more like it from Spain! That's the best goal they have scored at this tournament! A good passing move saw the ball sprayed out to Alba, he then picked out Sarabia in the box with a low pass and he guided a finish in off the post!
Looking at the positives, Spain have been pretty solid at the back. They have conceded just once in two games (to Poland). If they find some cutting edge, they should be well-placed.
Spain just haven’t delivered as an attacking unit so far. They need to do more to translate their possession play into goalscoring opportunities. Far too passive from them at Euro 2020.
Slovakia pulled off one of the shocks of the tournament so far by beating Poland 2-1 in their opening group game. They haven’t been at it today, though. Not much of a threat.
PICTURE: What was Dubravka doing?
It feels like he’s been around for ages, but Hamsik is still a crucial part of the way Slovakia play. So much of their attacking game flows through the former Napoli playmaker.
Laporte's goal right at the end of the first half...
Slovakia have to be better in this second half. They really struggled to hold on to the ball in the opening 45 minutes. Of course, the howler from Dubravka didn't help them!
- OffJakub HromadaSlovakia
- OnStanislav LobotkaSlovakia
... and Lobotka is also on for Slovakia who need to be better in this second period.
- OffOndrej DudaSlovakia
- OnMichal DurišSlovakia
Slovakia have made a change at the break with Duris coming on...
- 2nd Half
The second half is under way! Spain have a 2-0 lead in this crucial Euro 2020 Group E fixture against Slovakia!
- End of 1st Half
HALF TIME: Slovakia 0-2 Spain. For the most part, it has been more of the same from Spain, but they have a two-goal lead. In that sense, this has been better from the hosts.
- GoalAymeric LaporteSpain
GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAL! Slovakia 0 Spain 2 (45+3 mins - Aymeric Laporte). Spain have a second! Moreno beat Dubravka to a loose ball that the goalkeeper should have deal with, he cut back the cross into the middle and Laporte looped a header into the top corner of the Slovakian net! Spain have a cushion!
KOKE... wide! The Atletico Madrid midfielder decides to take on the effort from distance, but the ball flashes wide of the target. Dubravka wasn't too worried about that particular one.
There will be four minutes of stoppage time played at the end of the first half.
PICTURE: What a howler!
Spain are sitting back and allowing Slovakia to play the ball around inside their own half, but they are pressing on the opposition whenever they get to the halfway line.
Hamisk, Mak, Duda... they have all been missing in this first half. Slovakia need to do more to get these players into the game if they are to stand any chance of claiming something.
Slovakia have struggled to get out from the back in this match. Indeed, they just haven't been able to keep possession for long enough to construct any sort of attacking moves.
Duda was offside! Just for a moment it looked like the Slovakian forward was in behind the Spanish defence, but his shot is saved by Simon and then the flag is raised for offside.
Enrique will be pleased that his team is ahead, but this still hasn't been the ruthless performance Spain surely hoped for this evening. Once again, they have been wasteful.
Has the Seville heat been a factor in the lethargic performances Spain have produced at this tournament so far? It’s worth considering. Not many of their players actually play in Seville.
It’s a bit of a shame that UEFA decided to use Seville’s Olympic Stadium to host its Euro 2020 games when both the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan and the Benito Villamarin are brilliant venues.
Did Dubravka lose his bearings? Did the sun get in his eyes? Was he expecting contact from a defender? The Newcastle United goalkeeper will have to take the blame for that.
It can't be stressed enough how big a howler this was. Dubravka was under very little pressure to deal with the high ball under his own bar... and he's punched it into his own net!
- Own-goalMartin DubravkáSlovakia
GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAL! Slovakia 0 Spain 1 (30 mins - Martin Dubravka). What has happened there?! Sarabia struck the crossbar from the edge of the box, the ball spun high into the air, the Dubravka somehow managed to punch it into his own net! That is a howler from the Slovakian goalkeeper! Incredible!
This was the Sweden goal in the other game...
Enrique made the controversial decision not to pick any Real Madrid players for his Spain squad. Not many have had good seasons, but Marco Asensio might have given them some creativity.
Spain have been too safe, too cautious in the first two games they have played at Euro 2020. They need to take more risks in the final third otherwise they could go out tonight.
Cooling break! It's a very warm evening in Seville and so the players are going to have a cooling break here. Sensible. Along with Baku, this is the warmest venue at Euro 2020.
MORATA... denied! Space opened up for the Spain striker on the edge of the box, he gets the shot away quickly, but Dubravka makes the solid save to keep the ball out of his net!
Pedri is one of the few Spain players who hasn’t come in for criticism. Indeed, the Barcelona youngster has been a driving force for the Euro 2008 and 2012 winners so far.
Not far away! This time it's Pedri trying to get on the end of a ball into the middle, with Azpilicueta crossing it, but the teenager took his eye off it and fails to make a connection.
What a ball! Pedri's cross into the middle was a good one, he picked out the run of Sarabia, but the PSG forward couldn't make any meaningful connection with it and Dubravka saves.
PICTURE: Sums things up for Spain...
Moreno was picked to play against Poland, which was something the fans had been calling for, but the Villarreal striker was strangely used on the right wing with Morata through the middle.
Indeed, Enrique’s decision to start Morata in the first two games against Sweden and Poland came under scrutiny in Spain with the Juventus striker missing a number of big chances.
Enrique has come under a lot of pressure for standing by Morata. That isn't going to change after this game. The former Chelsea forward just can't find his shooting boots.
PENALTY KICK SAVED! Morata steps up under intense pressure... and his spot kick has been saved! Dubravka went the right way and keeps the scoreline level. Oh dear, Alvaro. Just not happening for him.
PENALTY KICK TO SPAIN! The referee has used VAR to decide Hromada fouled Koke inside the box and points to the spot!
The referee is going to the monitor...
VAR check! This is interesting! Koke was initially penalised for a foul, but it was actually the Spanish midfielder who was kicked! This might well be given as a penalty kick to Spain.
Enrique has come under a lot of pressure for some of the decisions he has made at this tournament. It’s not going so well for Spain. They have a point to prove here tonight.
Dubravka makes the save! Best chance of the match so far with Moreno playing Morata in behind. The angle was always a tight one for the Spanish striker, but he draws the save out of Dubravka.
Goal in the other game... Sweden have taken an early lead in their game against Poland with Forsberg finding the back of the net. That is good news for Spain!
What sort of match will we get this evening? Spain have been among the most disappointing teams at Euro 2020 so far, so will tonight be the night when things start to click for them?
- 1st Half
The match is under way! It's Slovakia against Spain in this Euro 2020 Group E fixture in Seville!
Okay, here we go. It's all on the line for these two teams in Seville. Kick off is coming up shortly.
Anthem time in Seville and it's fair to say that the Spanish anthem was sung louder by the thousands of natives in attendance!
Not long until kick off in this one. Will Spain have enough in the tank to get out of trouble? Will the changes work?
Slovakia know that a point will be enough to secure their place in the last 16 after their surprise victory over Poland in the first game of the tournament. They are a decent team!
Spain have been underwhelming at this tournament so far, drawing both games they have played so far. Enrique has struggled to get the best out of his team in an attacking sense.
I'm Graham Ruthven and you can catch me on Twitter ahead of the match to let me know your thoughts. How difficult will this be for Spain? Do you think they'll crash out? Tweet me - @grahamruthven!
Four changes! Enrique has been bold with his team selection for this hugely important game for Spain! In comes Azpilicueta, Busquets, Garcia and, most surprisingly, Sarabia!
TEAM NEWS: Slovakia - Dubravka; Pekarík, Satka, Skriniar, Hubocan; Kucka, Hromada; Haraslín, Hamsík, Mak; Duda. /// Spain - Unai Simon; Azpilicueta, Laporte, Eric Garcia, Alba; Pedri, Busquets, Koke; Gerard Moreno, Morata, Sarabia.
