Robbie Brady scored a vital away goal as Ireland managed a draw in thick fog against Bosnia-Herzegovina in the Euro 2016 qualifying play-off.
That means if Ireland can hold their opponents to a goalless draw in the return fixture in Dublin on Monday, they will progress to the finals.
After an unimpressive first half, the weather deteriorated at half-time, meaning visibility was hugely restricted.
Brady finished neatly with a near-post effort past Asmir Begovic, but Edin Dzeko pulled the hosts level three minutes later with a straightforward strike after substitute Ognjen Vranjes put a great ball in from the right.

KEY HIGHLIGHTS

14' CHANCE! Zukanovic and Cocalic put each other off as they both think about heading it, and the ball pings out on the other side for a throw.
22' SHOT! Oh, and that's a wicked shot that rattles the side netting, Ibisevic this time getting in front of Clark and swinging a leg with velocity at the ball in from the right.
32' CHANCE! Bosnia on the break again down the right, and the limp headers don't clear the ball for Ireland. Fortunately Zukanovic's attempt is straight at Randolph.
60' SAVE! One on one, and Randolph bravely stands up to Lulic to make the save.
82' GOAL! Apparently Robbie Brady has scored! The on-pitch camera shows some great movement from Brady down the right, and he shoots past Begovic at the near post.
85' GOAL! Bosnia have equalised through Dzeko, I think? It's a hard, low ball played in from the right and that's very straightforward for Dzeko to slot home.

KEY STATISTICS

Republic of Ireland ran out 1-0 winners in the only previous meeting between these teams (May 2012); Bosnia and Herzegovina were away from home on that occasion, however.
Both sides are in the European Championship playoffs in successive attempts (Bosnia and Herzegovina lost to Portugal in 2012 whilst Republic of Ireland got past Estonia).

TALKING POINT

Would this game actually have finished had it not been for the live television coverage? It seems unlikely. Also, blisteringly ironic as nobody watching the live television coverage had a clue what was happening.

MAN OF THE MATCH

It seems rather odd to pick a man of the match when so little of the play was visible, but Darren Randolph had a good game in the Ireland goal, while Edin Visca was constantly problematic for Bosnia-Herzegovina. It's unorthodox but they can share the accolade. Or they could draw lots, making it just as random as the match itself.
