Are Scotland's hopes of qualifying for the 2020 European Championships dead before they were even alive? They were dreadful this evening. Kazakhstan deserved their win and they are still on the pitch celebrating in front of their jubilant supporters in Astana. McLeish will have a lot to answer for after this.

FULL TIME: Kazakhstan 3-0 Scotland

One minute left to play on what will go down as one of the most humiliating nights in Scottish football history. On the flip side, this is a famous night for Kazakhstan. They'll enjoy this.

Burke... well over! That sums up Scotland's night. It was some nice build up play from Burke, but he was leaning back by the time he took the shot and the ball sailed high and wide.

McLeish will surely ring the changes for Sunday's Euro 2020 qualifier against San Marino. This has been dismal from Scotland. Has anyone actually played well for the away side?

Five minutes of stoppage time to be played at the end of the match. Where did that come from?

There will be speculation after this game over McLeish's position as Scotland manager. It's hard to see him being sacked before Sunday's game, but after that? Let's see what happens.

Scotland really miss Griffiths. Obviously the Celtic striker should be given as much time as he needs to get back to where he was, but he leaves quite the void up front in this Scotland side.

On target! Bain has to make a save at his near post. The header from Muzhikov, who has only just come off the bench, was a good one, but wasn't enough to beat the Scotland goalkeeper.

Shinnie is shown a yellow card. That caps a poor performance from the Aberdeen man.

You can't argue that Scotland have been unlucky here. They have been played off the pitch by a Kazakhstan side who have even taken their foot off the pedal in this second half.

The Hibernian striker McNulty comes on for his first ever Scotland cap. Probably not how he dreamed it.

Clash of heads! That was a sore one. I didn't quite see who it was, but two Kazakhstan players have clashed heads while going for the same ball and they are receiving treatment now.

On the other side of things, Kazakhstan have coasted through this second half. They know that the game is won and they are just seeing out what will be a famous win for them.

Scotland are resigned to defeat this point. There is no intensity, no tempo to their play. To be honest, it's been that way since the third goal went in for Kazakhstan. Really turgid stuff.
