Wayne Rooney looked to have been healing well as he took part in Everton's training session on Wednesday morning ahead of their Europa League Group E clash with Apollon Limassol.

Rooney was left with a cut above his left eye and a bloodied face after being caught by the arm of Simon Francis in an aerial challenge during Saturday's 2-1 victory over Bournemouth.
The former England captain, who came off just after half-time in that game, appeared in far better shape as he trained with his team-mates in front of the media on Wednesday, with the area around his eye looking only a little darkened.
Michael Keane and Phil Jagielka, both absent from the Bournemouth match due to foot and hamstring injuries respectively, were seen doing work away from the main group.

That also applied to James McCarthy, who has been sidelined by a knee problem and is yet to play this season but was included in the Republic of Ireland's provisional squad announced on Tuesday for World Cup qualifiers against Moldova on October 6 and Wales three days later.
Oumar Niasse, scorer of three goals in the last two matches, was involved in full training but is unable to play in Thursday's game against Apollon at Goodison Park as he was not included in squad for the Europa League group stage that Everton boss Ronald Koeman selected earlier this month.
Eighteen-year-old defender Morgan Feeney also took part.
