When Chelsea's Europa League semi-final went to penalties there were more than a few jokes about how Maurizio Sarri should have substituted on Willy Caballero for Kepa Arrizabalaga.

That would have been unwise.

The Spaniard, who publicly defied his manager in the final of the Carabao Cup, produced two excellent saves in the shoot-out to help send his team into the final in Baku.
