Chelsea's top scorer Eden Hazard has missed the team's trip to Greece to play PAOK in the Europa League.
Hazard, 27, has notched five goals in the opening five Premier League games to help the Blues to the perfect start.
However, new manager Maurizio Sarri has decided to leave Hazard out of the squad to face PAOK along with central defender David Luiz.
Mateo Kovacic and Emerson are the two other players who have not made the trip from London.
There could be significant playing time for the likes of Gary Cahill, Andreas Christensen, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Ross Barkley as Sarri looks to rotate his squad ahead of a long season.
Promising youngsters Ethan Ampadu, who on Wednesday signed a new five-year contract at Stamford Bridge, and Callum Hudson-Odoi have also travelled with the squad.
The other game in Group L sees BATE Borisov take on MOL Vidi in Hungary.
