The forward has hit one solitary goal in his last 17 Chelsea appearances. However, to his credit, he keeps getting into the right positions.
And against MOL Vidi FC he once again found himself in a position whereby he really should be hitting the target.
Unfortunately for Morata and Chelsea, he managed to put the effort wide. Here it is in all its glory:
Again unfortunately for Morata and Olivier Giroud, the camera panned to the France international, and fans focused in on his reaction to the miss.
Some thought he had seen enough.
