CHELSEA HAVE WON IT! A triumph for Chelsea, and a fine send off for Eden Hazard. This is Petr Cech's last game too, and he looks thoroughly sick with his lot. An excellent performance, but it felt dead in the first half and largely finished after the second goal.
There are grown men in tears in the ground. Three minutes to go.
- OffEden HazardChelsea
- OnDavide ZappacostaChelsea
Hazard is caught by Willock, and that gives him the chance to be subbed for Zappacosta. There are minutes left.
Willock is set through on goal and he lifts a curling shot over and past the 'keeper, but just wide of the post - inches wide.
Arsenal seem set for another goal. Lacazette receives a ball over the net and somehow Kepa blocks the effort, before Aubameyang has an attempt that is blocked by Christensen as the flag goes up.
Willian is almost set free, and his low shot is deflected over by Sokratis' sliding tackle to avert a shot on goal.
Cech pulls off another good save from, I think, Hazard. The blue shirts are taking apart their opponents.

Here is Willock.

Barkley for Kovacic.
Cech beats away Hazard's effort from inside the box. He could still get a hat-trick.
- GoalEden HazardChelsea
GOAL! Chelsea 4-1 Arsenal. Hazard scores - Hazard lays the ball off for Giroud, peeling off to the left, and he clips in a ball for Hazard's continued run as he chips in a shot past Cech.
- GoalAlex IwobiArsenal
GOAL! Chelsea 3-1 Arsenal. Iwobi scores - Chelsea fail to properly clear a ball into the box, and after some head tennis in the box, it comes out to Iwobi. He catches a volley brilliantly, and it sails into the top corner.
Chelsea are happy now, at least.

- Goal by penaltyEden HazardChelsea
GOAL! Chelsea 3-0 Arsenal. Hazard scores - The forward saunters up to the ball and lifts it past Cech, who dived to his left as Cech went right.
PENALTY! Maitland-Niles runs into the back of Giroud as he was about to take a shot after Pedro slips him in, and that is clear cut.
GOAL! Chelsea 2-0 Arsenal. Pedro scores - Kovacic slips in Hazard on the left, he pulls it back for Pedro near the penalty spot, and he clips in a first-time shot into the far corner, and that appears to be the tie settled.
Arsenal are seeing almosts all of the ball now, and Torreira is given the chance to fire in on goal on the edge of the box, but it's blocked by Christensen
- Yellow cardPedroChelsea
Say what you want about Giroud, but is he really better than Bafetimbi Gomis? Pedro is booked.
Giroud slips in the corner attempting a bit of trickery, and he appears to strain his groin. He's alright, for now at least.
Aubameyang sends in a cross from the right, and it floats over the top of a waiting Lacazette.
Chelsea are happy.
- GoalOlivier GiroudChelsea
GOAL! Chelsea 1-0 Arsenal. Giroud scores - Emerson receives the ball in space on the left and sends in a low cross to the near post. Giroud has to reach around to find the force to head towards goal, and it creeps in at the near post.
Giroud on the overlap has a chance to strike from within the box, but he takes Hazard's pass and has a shot deflected wide.

That's it. I'll level with you: dreadful.
Normal time is up.
A couple of minutes left of the half, and Emerson wins a corner on the left wing from Maitland-Niles.
Kovacic catches Torreira in midfield, and that's an obvious free kick.
Jorginho slips in Giroud on the edge of the box, and from the 18-yard line he digs out a low shot at goal that Cech dives to his left and pushes it away. That was a very dangerous shot.
Emerson bundles over Lacazette near the halfway line, and Arsenal have the free kick. It was a zesty challenge from the defender, there.
This is not what you would call a classic game of football.
Jorginho flicks the ball into the path of Emerson on the left, and he blasts a low shot at goal that Cech is able to beat away.
Kolasinac sends in a fierce ball from the left, and it flicks off Azpilicueta, floating just over the bar.
Nothing comes from it.
Sokratis deflects a shot that is drilled towards goal. Hazard takes the corner...
Xhaka lines up a shot from 25 yards, and he drills a threatening shot at goal that just clips the top of the bar. Very, very close.
Imagine if you got 20 kittens and told them to do their worst, this would be it.
Xhaka's cross is bounced off Sokratis and Kepa is able to chase down and claim.
Pedro fouls Monreal as he scoots down the left. Free kick in a dangerous area, if Arsenal wre Bolton.
Lacazette chases a ball over the top from Torreira, and Kepa collides with Azpilicueta after a handy shove from the striker. The 'keeper and Christensen are OK to continue.
Maitland-Niles fires in a cross and Jorginho slides back to cut out the pass, conceding a corner.
Very weird that Arsenal are forebidden from actually including all their players tonight.
VAR! OF! REVIEW! Lacazatte toes his way around Kepa and it goes out for a goal kick. It looks like a penalty, but nothing is given. It really looks like an obvious foul, and Lacazette was looking for it - but so what?
Here I am, looking for some action.
Hazard whips in a low cross at the back post, but it was a touch over the group of players and goes out for nothing.
Sokratis steps in by standing on Giroud's toes on the corner of the box, on the left hand side.
So far this game is, as the kids say, dry.
Kepa beats away Maitand-Niles cross at the near post, and Aubameyang drags his low shot wide of the post. That was the first decent chance of the half.
Not much going on tbh.
Aumbameyang is penalised for challenging with Christensen, but there doesn't really seem a great deal in it.
Kovacic tries to backheel into the path of Emerson, and it's out on the left wing.
Sokratis slashes at a long ball and it flies out of play on the wing.
You have to wonder.

For Arsenal, this is probably Petr Cech's last apperance in professional football. He is rumoured to be on his way back to Chelsea in some kind of director role, but he has been perhaps the most consistently brilliant goalkeeper in the Premier League over the best part of two decades. That really doesn't happen often.
The big news for Chelsea is that Kante is fit to start. There had been worries that Chelsea's most misused player was going to be out for the final but here he is.
There are, of course, no Armenians in the line-ups today because UEFA decided not to do their job properly. Get used to it.
Here's something about Eden Hazard deserving more.
Here's a nice video.
Chelsea, however, have qualified for the Champions League already, finishing third. They are well set, except: they had a strop with Maurizio Sarri last night, they have a transer ban on the way, they probably have to sell Eden Hazard this summer, and they may not have Sarri next season. A win could cheer them up, at least
This game has an important meaning for both sides. Let's deal with Arsenal first. They finished outside the Champions League places, but a win today would see them back in the competition for next season. That is worth milions, and allows them to attract more players, of better quality, for less money.
And here we are for the Arsenal lot.
Here is the Chelsea side.
