Another chance for Bruno Duarte! This time his shot inside the box rebounds off Mustafi and, with Martínez rooted, it hits the right-hand post on goes out for a corner. Blimey!
GOAL! Vitoria 1 Arsenal 1! Edwards, down the right, clips in a ball which eventually drops for Bruno Duarte. Duarte gets a great strike on the ball, falling to his right, and the ball flies past Martínez!
Bonatini has a chance for Vitoria though! Vitoria break down the right via Rochinha and, inside the box, Bonatini blazes wide.
Vitoria have enjoyed good spells, particularly in the first half, but haven't flustered Arsenal enough. Having gone a goal down, Vitoria are hassling Arsenal but the game is fading away.
Arsenal have had to be very patient for that opener, but they've kept Vitoria to shots from distance and have defended comfortably in the main.

GOAL! Vitoria 0 Arsenal 1! Pepe delivers a lovely ball into the box from a free-kick from the left. Mustafi rises perfectly and, this time, directs his header low and to the right of Douglas inside Vitoria's post.
Arsenal are having more of the ball this half, but cannot get their forwards in the game. Vitoria are hoping to pick off Arsenal and aren't leaving much space for the Gunners.

Rochinha is back up and Lucas Evangelista takes the free-kick for Vitoria, which goes straight into the arms of Martínez.

Bruno Duarte attempts to slip in Victor Garcia down the right with a one-two, but Arsenal are quick to the danger. It's scrappier than the first half at the moment, and the weather isn't helping matters.

Pepe whips in a corner for Arsenal from the right, but it's cleared by Vitoria in a crowded box. Arsenal are committing more players forward but are just going through the motions at the moment.
Tierney puts Saka in down the left for Arsenal, but Saka is just offside. Very tight, that.
Ceballos pulls up with a tight hamstring, and Guendouzi is on for Arsenal.
Edwards gets free down the right for Vitoria, and into the box. He cuts the ball back, but Edwards doesn't have any support up front and Mustafi clears the danger.
Martinelii drifts wide right for Arsenal trying to get on the ball, but the move breaks down.

The teams are back out. It's still raining hard here in Portugal.
And that’s half-time. 0-0, but Vitoria will be much happier of the two sides.
Vitoria's Pepe concedes a free-kick to Arsenal on the edge of the box. In the last moment before half-time, Arsenal waste the opportunity and the ball goes for a throw.
Holding is lucky to escape a booking with a swipe on Edwards.

It's Victor Garcia's time to have a pop from distance for Vitoria, but his shot is low and straight at Martínez who gathers comfortably.
Arsenal are a bit sloppy in midfield and have had very few chances this half so far.
Davidson collects a knock-down just inside the box from a Vitoria free-kick, and shapes to bend it inside the far right-hand post. It's only just wide. Great chance for Davidson.
Vitoria are hassling Arsenal well in midfield, and continue to push up the field.
After a couple of Arsenal corners, Saka cuts back a great chipped ball to Holding but the Arsenal defender can't get his header on target.
Chance for Vitoria! Tapsoba meets a floated free-kick into the box and forces a save from Martínez, who pushes the ball to safety to his right. Tapsoba was completely unmarked but it was a difficult chance.
However, Mustafi is booked for grabbing Davidson down the Arsenal right.
Pepe down the right for Arsenal, can't get his cross in but brief respite for the Gunners as they have a throw-in deep in the Vitoria half. Arsenal look unflustered so far despite the Vitoria chances.

Arsenal face Leicester City in the Premier League at the weekend and, along with resting key players today, they’ll want a comfortable win to alleviate recent troubles on and off the pitch. Vitoria’s manager, Ivo Vieira, has no intention of sitting back against Unai Emery’s side again, so we should be in for an entertaining game.

Vitoria's local rivals, Braga, are playing Besiktas tomorrow at home and, to avoid both sets of fans being in close proximity, Vitoria's match with Arsenal was brought forward. The 3.50pm (UK) kick-off time is to accommodate the Champions League broadcast schedule with Bayern v Juventus immediately after this match, followed by Olympiacos v Lokomotiv Moscow later tonight.
Vitoria are without several players through injury, but Victor Garcia at right-back makes the starting eleven leaving Rochinha on the bench. Bruno Duarte leads the Vitoria attack, and Marcus Edwards – previously of Tottenham Hotspur – starts, probably on the wing.
Granit Xhaka, Mesut Ozil, new club captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and David Luiz have all been rested and will not feature today. Reiss Nelson is back in the squad for the first time since September.
Eight changes for Arsenal. Rob Holding and Shkodran Mustafi return in defence. Ainsley Maitland-Niles and Kieran Tierney start as wing-backs. Arsenal’s front three are Pepe, Martinelli and Saka, with Lacazette on the bench.

Two late free-kicks from Nicolas Pepe rescued Arsenal in the reverse Group F Europa League fixture, against a spirited Vitoria at the Emirates. In Portugal today, Arsenal will be hoping to maintain their 100% record in the group stage, all but sealing their place in the knockout stages, while Vitoria are still looking to get points on the board.
