The half-time whistle goes and this tie is not in the bag for Tottenham just yet. Dinamo have been solid and have threatened occasionally, with Majer missing the best chance of the half. See you back here in 15.

Spurs break and Lamela does well to find Lucas, who in turn finds Kane. The angle is a bit tight, but Kane still forces a fine stop out of the keeper.
    42'
Lamela’s delivery from a deep free-kick is superb and Aurier tries to back-header it into the top corner, but he’s under pressure and can’t put his tricky effort on target. Spurs really could do with somebody getting a grip of this game in midfield – the sort of role that you suspect Winks and Sissoko were picked for.
    40'
The tempo has notably increased and the game is really beginning to open up. Dinamo have taken a lot of hope from that recent string of half-chances, and Spurs are in for a game here!

Ristovski is hobbling a little but looks fine to continue.

Ristovski slides in on Sissoko and is caught by the Spurs midfielder on the follow through. That’s a painful one.

Majer curls a peach of a cross into the box that very nearly lays a chance on a plate for Ademi, but Sanchez – the only defender to react – gets a crucial touch to take it away from the Dinamo man. Great defending, but this is so much better from the home side in the last couple of minutes, they’re really offering a big threat.

Oh my, that isn’t far away at all! Dinamo find some space in the final third and Majer’s attempted return pass takes a deflection back into his path. It’s a brilliant shooting opportunity, but the midfielder slides his effort narrowly wide.
    34'
Lucas Moura is caught on the edge of the box and calls for a foul, but nothing is given. It was a knock to the head though, so the game pauses for a moment.
    31'
Dinamo have a chance to get the ball into the box as they win a corner, but Majer’s delivery is up there with one of the worst I’ve seen, curling way out of the box to the feet of Lamela and giving Spurs a counter-attacking opportunity. What a waste.

That’s the best move of the match. Dele Alli drives towards the defence and flicks a lovely pass into the path of Lamela. However, the Argentine’s shot back across the goal is superbly blocked.
    27'
Harry Kane bursts into the box and sits down the defender with a beautiful turn. But his movement is too much for even Kane, who loses his footing and the chance dissipates.
    25'
It’s not been a thriller this, I’ll level with you. That probably suits Dinamo a bit too, oddly. A goal for Spurs would leave the home side needing to score four to progress, but if it stays tight then there’s always a chance of the hosts grabbing two late goals.

Erik Lamela goes into the book for a swinging elbow and you have to say that’s harsh. His reputation doing the damage there more than any limb.
    21'
There’s the threat from Dinamo! The home side have a number of attempts in quick succession, with a cut-back that runs straight through the six-yard box being the most dangerous moment for Spurs. If the visitors needed a warning they’ve just had one.

Lucas tries to get into space down the left, but only succeeds in running the ball straight out of play. The Brazilian has looked so much more effective in a central role of late, and his return to the wing is showing glimpses of the old frustrating Lucas.
    15'
Dier makes a good block as Ivanusec gets a shot away. It’s clear that the hosts are going to be quite solid tonight, but there’s not a huge amount in the way of genuine attacking threat just yet.
    13'
Kane bends in an absolute peach of a cross from the left flank, but neither Lamela nor Dele can find the finish. It’s that sort of moment where Kane would wish he was on the end of his own delivery, but he can’t do everything himself!
    10'
Kane and Dele almost link up on the edge of the box, but the attacking midfielder can’t quite bring the ball under control. That’s promising signs though, it was great movement from Dele.
