Both sides will be fairly happy with this. LASK got a point which was the least they deserved and the result is enough to give Tottenham qualification from Group J.

90+3'

GOAL! A cracking curling strike from Karamoko from 25 yards out brings LASK level and surely Spurs cannot get in front again now.

90'

Four minutes of injury time to be played..

88'

Alli picks up a yellow card.

86'

GOAL! Alli clips the ball down the middle of the goal as the goalkeeper dives to his left.

86'

PENALTY! LASK are their own worst enemy. Again Spurs are given a penalty when Bergwijn chases a long ball and Wiesinger gets on the wrong side of him and pushes him over.

84'

GOAL! Eggestein puts LASK level. I didn't see that coming. Sanchez was out of position and Eggestein, who has looked lively throughout, lashed the ball home firmly but again Hart looked like he could have stopped it as he got an arm to the ball.

81'

Alli and Aurier comes on for Bale and Son.

79'

Karamoko picks up a yellow card for raising his arm dangerously, in the referee's opinion, in an aerial contest.

74'

Son's corner comes to Hojberg but he cannot keep his effort at goal down.

74'

Davies' long ball almost gets through to Son but Andrade is there to put it behind for a corner.

72'

Dier comes on for Lo Celso and it looks like Spurs will now play with three centre backs to hold onto the lead.

71'

After some neat interplay on the outside of the box, Karamoko shoots from 20 yards but wide of the goal.

69'

Goiginger and Gruber come off for Karamoko and Reiter.

66'

Moura and Ndombele come off for Bergwijn and Sissoko.

65'

Lo Celso put through Bale and he raced towards goal before squaring to Son unselfishly but it was behind the Korean striker who did not look like he was expecting it. Son may have been given offside from the initial ball anyway.

60'

A strange game now, Spurs will be happy to just keep things going as they have been. LASK after being the better side for the first hour, need to raise their game and it doesn't feel likely that they will be able to do this.

56'

GOAL! Ndombele does well to win the ball and sends Son through on goal in the inside-right channel and there are few people you would rather have in that position and he just strokes the ball past the goalkeeper and into the far post.

52'

LASK still look the more potent going forward. Goiginger has a lot of space to curl a cross in from the left flank but overhits it and it goes out for a goal kick.

48'

So had a good chance to play Bale in but was inaccurate with the through-ball.

47'

Ranftl puts in a dangerous cross from the right win that Tanganga does well to clear from danger.

46'

That goal was Bale's first for Tottenham in Europe since the hat-trick in the San Siro ten years ago which changed his life.

46'

Spurs get the second half underway...

Half Time

GOAL! Bale sends the keeper the wrong way and that is half time. A lucky reprieve for Spurs. It really has been LASK's only fault today raising their arms when blocking shots.

45'

PENALTY! A spot kick for Spurs. They haven't deserved to go in at half time level but they may just do so. Moura pulled back for Ndombele but his effort was blocked by the raised arms of the sliding Andrade, who receives a yellow card.

42'

GOAL! Dipping effort from Michorl from 30 yards, a lovely hit but Hart really had to stop that - it bounced just in front of him and was aimed just to his left but he dived too late as it swerved into the net.

40'

Hart punches away a dangerous looking corner and then claims the ball as it is put back into the box. A confident display from him.

37'

It really has been a lacklustre performance from Spurs. Minds on the weekend's North London derby perhaps - though most of these won't be playing.

34'

Bale takes the free kick again but hits the wall from the set piece and the rebound.

33'

Bale hits a free kick into the wall and it hits Michorl's hands which were over his head. Now it's a free kick right on the edge of the hosts' penalty area. Yellow card for the midfielder.

31'

Lovely one-two between Renner and Madsen before Hart makes a point blank save to deny the left-footer.

27'

Son puts Moura through on goal but he is clearly offside. The linesman keeps his flag down until he shoots errantly.

26'

Moura gets a yellow card for Spurs for catching Ranftl with his arm in an aerial contest.

21'

Renner has a shot at goal from 25 yards and strikes it well so although it is straight at Hart he parries it away.

19'

The corner comes to Son who runs 60 yards upfield giving memories of that goal against Burnley (I think) but Wiesinger again makes a crucial block.

18'

Eggestein certainly looks the dangerman for the Austrian side and here he wins a corner for the hosts.

16'

A nutmeg, drag back and then tightrope walk along the by-line from Bale then but he couldn't find a Spurs shirt in the box.

14'

The game has settled down now and Linz lost the early momentum.

10'

Ndombele dribbles into the box but Wiesinger tackles cleanly and clears the danger.

8'

Son is almost put through on goal by Bale but Wiesinger puts it behind for a corner.

6'

Eggestein shoots from the edge of the box and it has Hart beaten but fortunately for Spurs it comes back off the post.

3'

LASK starting promisingly. A free kick into the box is cleared to Ranftl who shoots wildly for a throw-in

1'

LASK get the game underway...

17:53

Spurs 1/2 to win today. That looks a little skinny for me. I'd be more tempted with the 11/2 being offered for LASK.

17:52

It is currently -1 in Linz so unsurprisingly the Spurs players almost to a man are wearing gloves.

17:45

LASK have won two out of three in the competition since getting humbled at White Hart Lane and are currently second in the Austrian Bundesliga having won six from nine. So a tougher game should be in store today.

17:36

A nice day for Ben Davies tonight. I can easily see him being a skipper for a lower half Premier League side, love his attitude but maybe not the quality to be a regular at a team near the top of the league.

17:29

Spurs promoting their three-man midfield tonight. Though they only require a draw to qualify for the next round, you wouldn't expect them to park the bus in front of the goalposts as they did at Stamford Bridge tonight.

17:20

Ndombele, Hojberg and Son are the only Spurs players featuring who played in Sunday’s bore draw with Chelsea.

17:12

A reason for Spurs fans to be optimistic - if they needed it.

17:06

And this is the eleven who will start for the Austrian side...

17:03

Here is the Spurs line up for this evening's match.

17:00
