GOAL FOR UNITED! A good cross from Telles and Mata rises to head home but misses the ball and it deflects off Vallejo and into the net. A goal befitting of the match.
A sharp stop from De Gea as Herrera has another headed attempt on goal.
Amad is brought down by Diaz the last man but the referee decides it was not a foul. Maybe a mercy call.
Telles hoofs a ball high into the air which gives Granada a late corner.
Perez comes on for German for Granada, Greenwood is replaced by Amad and Wan Bissaka leaves the field with Williams coming on.
Greenwood races into the box and looks set to shoot but then loses control of the ball.
Machis tries to find a team-mate into the centre but De Gea collects the cross.
Diaz comes on for Neva for Granada. Shuffling chairs on the Titanic stuff.
Montoro with a bit of a nasty foul on Fernandes and he goes off now to be replaced by Mata.
A lovely attempted diagonal ball from Fernandes looking for James making a run in from the right flank but German intercepts well on the stretch.
German gets away from Tuanzebe and has a chance to swing his swinger at goal but the left-footed effort skews meekly wide of the far post.
German Sanchez is booked for a handball which stopped a United counter-attack.
James replaces Cavani for United.
Van de Beek fires wide after Greenwood's direct run is quelled on the edge of the box.
Lovely cross from Fernandes finds Cavani but he misses the header and it deflects off his shoulder wide of the target.
Molina is put through on goal but De Gea comes out and kicks the ball clear. Almost more action already than in the whole of the first half.
At the other end, Greenwood has a chance with a header but misses the target.
Nice centre from the right from Foulquier but Molina's header hits Wan Bissaka and bounces kindly for De Gea.
Van de Beek into the action with a lunging foul on Montoro.
Back underway. Van de Beek is on for Pogba as expected and for Granada Kenedy has been substituted for Puertas and Suarez has replaced Soldado.
A very dull half of football but United have at least hit the target and Pogba has not got sent off. You would think Solskjaer takes his skipper off at the interval.
Greenwood, who should be looking to fill his boots today, fires well wide from 20 yards out.
Kenedy shoots from long range but it goes harmlessly wide. He complains in vain for a corner.
Cavani had a great chance to play in Matic after good play from Pogba but his through-ball was too soft.
Close to a marvellous goal from Fernandez. Matic clipped a ball over the defence in the right hand side of the penalty area and he caught it with an outside of the foot volley which just did not dip into the far top corner.
Molina comes on for Gonalons who has a dislocated left shoulder by the looks of things.
A pretty uninspiring match at present. Granada are showing little threat other than from set pieces.
Pogba and Cavani try to exchange passes on the edge of the box but Vallejo clears the danger.
Herrera has another opportunity, getting behind Lindelof but stooping he nods wide of the target.
Soldado gets a yellow card after remonstrating about a Pogba foul suggesting he should have received a second yellow card.
A good sprint race between Wan Bissaka and Kenedy on the Granada left flank and as always the United full back doesn't get beaten in this situation. The ball then falls to Sanchez who is elbowed by Pogba and the United midfielder receives a yellow card.
Sanchez with what was approaching a Heimlich manoeuvre on Cavani unsurprisingly sees a free kick awarded against him.
Close for Granada! Herrera flicks a header from Montoro's cross which has De Gea beaten but flies beyond the far post.
GOAL FOR UNITED! Pogba flicks on a deep cross into the box and Cavani strikes home with a left foot volley guided into the far corner.
Cavani has a chance to play in Greenwood from the right flank but he plays the ball too far in front of the young striker.
Fernandes has the first shot of the game from long range but it is deflected safely wide of the target and kept in by Rui Silva.
United get us underway...
Paul Pogba skippers United tonight. Not an obvious choice for the armband.
Both teams are in the tunnel now ready to enter the empty arena.
As if you needed another reason to be confident United will be progressing to the semis.
To show how big the task Granada have in front of them, the bookies have them a massive 20/1 to qualify for the next round and a price about double that on the betting exchanges.
Marcus Rashford not playing tonight, with Greenwood and Pogba flanking Cavani (and Fernandes in behind), but this was the key moment of the first leg when he gave United a lead that was never really threatened.
United then with the task more than half done already after their 2-0 win in Granada, but with Tuanzebe and Telles at the back for Maguire and Shaw and Matic starting in midfield ahead of McTominay. All changes forced upon Ole Gunnar Solskjaer due to suspensions.
And this is the Spanish side looking to cause a sensation at Old Trafford tonight...
This is how the Red Devils will line up...
