Gareth Bale could return for Real Madrid's Super Cup match with Sevilla at the Lerkendal Stadion in Trondheim next Tuesday despite missing the club's pre-season preparations.

Bale has been on an extended break after helping Wales reach the semi-finals of Euro 2016, but is apparently due to return to training on Friday, according to the Spanish paper Marca.

He has been spotted mountain biking in Marbella while Zinedine Zidane's side have been tuning up for the new season in North America.
