Dani Carvajal scored a stunning extra-time goal, following on from Sergio Ramo’s last-gasp equaliser at the end of regulation time, to clinch the European Super Cup for Real Madrid against Sevilla.
Jorge Sampaoli’s side looked set to lift the first piece of silverware of the continental season following goals from Franco Vazquez and Yevhen Konoplyanka, but Ramos found the net in the 94th minute to force extra-time.

The youngster spent last season on loan at Espanyol but is now back at his parent club Real Madrid this summer. But after an impressive pre-season Asensio has forced his way into the first-team fold and marked his senior debut with a stunning goal.
