Bastian Schweinsteiger makes first start under Jose Mourinho

Bastian Schweinsteiger has been handed his first Manchester United start in 385 days in the FA Cup fourth round tie with Wigan Athletic.

The German midfielder had only previously featured as a substitute under Jose Mourinho after forcing his way out of exile.

Luke Shaw also makes his return to the starting XI, while there are also rare appearances for Sergio Romero, Timothy Fosu-Mensah and Anthony Martial.

Will Grigg – the protagonist of 2016’s greatest chant – is tasked with terrifying the United defence.
