Arsenal have started at a high-tempo, pinning Hull back in their own half.

Walcott tucks the ball into the bottom corner after a poked pass finds him in the area, but he was a mile offside and the flag is up.

This is the fourth meeting between these clubs in the last two years. Arsenal broke Hull hearts in the 2014 FA Cup final, coming from behind to win 3-2, and they knocked the Tigers out of the competition with a routine victory last season. It was goalless when these teams met at the Emirates a couple of weeks ago, but the Gunners are targeting an historic hat-trick of FA Cup crowns so will surely be taking this game seriously.

“We had to fit the game in somewhere,” Arsene Wenger begrudgingly admitted in his pre-match press conference.

“Ideally it's not the best position for us but I couldn't see any other solution," Big Weng continued. "I will have to [make changes] but I'm not so much concerned about replacing one player with another one. It's more that I have to rotate a little bit and keep the right balance in the team."

Yes, you have read that right, it’s a 19:00 kick-off for this game. It took lengthy negotiations between all parties to get this game ahead, with the reason for the early kick-off being UEFA’s insistence on domestic matches not clashing with their Champions League showpiece.
