Woodman's cross is cut out at the near post, and they attack from right to left with Smith. He picks out Brannagan on the edge of the box, and his shot from outside the box is a yard or two over.

Smith finds Teixeira ahead of him on the left, and his flicked cross, with the outside of his right boot, is scrambled clear.

Enrique's loose pass is intercepted by Nicholls. He drives towards goal, looks for Morrison in the box, but he can't control the ball.

Exeter are pinned back in their half now, reduced to hoofing it to Liverpool's defenders for a break.

Benteke receives the ball with his back to goal, in the box, and he brings it down, swivels, but shoots straight at Olejnik.

Liverpool win a corner high up on the right wing after Ibe's shot is deflected wide. Ribeiro heads away for another. It's taken short, and it's headed away too.

Olejnik runs out to claim a long ball forward. Neither side is making many chances so far.
