Football news - Aubameyang refuses to travel with Gabon to throw international future into doubt

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has cast doubt over his international future after leaving the camp early.
The Arsenal forward featured in Friday's 3-0 win over South Sudan at home, but did train over the weekend and refused to travel for Tuesday's return clash.
The 29-year-old has endured a rocky relationship with his country's Football Association, blasting them "amateur" after the FA prematurely announced his unwell father as the new national team manager - a deal that ended up not being reached.
And, according to French sports newspaper L'Equipe, the latest disagreement centred around the airfcraft that the Gabonese FA had chartered for the journey to South Sudan.
On seeing the plane, Aubameyang reportedly refused to board, saying it failed to meet the "standards required for top athletes" and telling officials: "I will not board that thing".
The Arsenal forward instead opted to fly back to London to spend time with his family and prepare for his club's next game against Leicester City.
Gabon secured a narrow 1-0 win in Aubameyang's absence.
