And that is full-time, Juventus win 2-1 with first-half goals from Dybala and debutant Benatia. Lamela hit back for Spurs in the second period but they were unable to take their chances late on. Thanks for following the game with us, stick with us for all the transfer news today.

GOOD SAVE! Lamela threads the ball through to Harrison whose low shot on the stretch is parried by Neto.

Edwards has shown some nice touches since coming on.

Lirola is shown the game's first yellow cars for grabbing Wanyama's shirt.

Five minutes left for Spurs to salvage something. Pochettino will be buoyed by the second half display.

Cerri, who has made an impact since coming on, is involved in a slick passing move but cannot get his shot away on the edge of the box.

Lamela should really have done better with his low first-time effort which was straight at the keeper.

GOOD SAVE! Onomoah slides the ball into the box for Lamela and the Argentine's drive is parried by Neto.

Luke Amos is coming on for defender Ball to play as a full-back.

Rugani twists inside the box and gets a hot away which is deflected for a corner. The set piece is whipped into the far post but Spurs clear.

Juventus' Miralem Pjanic in action with Tottenham's Ryan Mason

The ball is swung in behind the SPurs defence, Cerri goes down claiming he is fouled, but the referee waves play on.

If Spurs can find an equaliser in the remaining 20 minutes we will have penalties.

Dybala sends in a good ball to substitute Cerri who is through on goal but the ball flicks off his hand and he is penalised.

Just before the goal, Parodi and Vitale came on for Asamoah and Pjanic.

GOAL! Lamela with a fine finish from inside the area across the keeper after Wanyama used his muscle to win the ball before setting up the former Roma striker. Game on.

Winks with a poor back pass to the keeper but Vorm is able to clear the danger just in time.

In their place are three youth team players, Harrison, Walkes and the highly-rated Edwards.

Trippier, Carroll and Janssen are coming for Spurs..

Lamela and the tough-tackling Winks have certainly added an edge to Spurs compared to the first half.

SO CLOSE FROM LAMELA! The Argentine'a first-time effort from 25 yards is deflected inches wide of goal from Janssen's layoff.

WHAT A MISS! Pjanic runs behind the Spurs backline but he blazes his half volley well over the bar from close range. That should have nestled in the back of the net.

The half is following a similar pattern to the opening 45 minutes with Juve looking more clinical in the final third.

Nice chipped ball by Winks into the box for the orange-haired Onomah but Neto races off his line to collect.

Miller, Mason, Son and Chadli were taken off. And Lamela is already showing more purpose and energy down the left than any of the Spurs midfielders showed in the first hald.

Spurs make four changes with Lamela, Winks, Yedlin and youngster Onomah introduced.

Juve make a double change for the second half with Marrone and Cerri on. SPurs get the second period underway..

And that is half-time, its 2-0 to Juventus courtesy of goals from Dybala and Benatia on his debut against a very inexperienced Spurs defence.

Pereyra feeds Asamoah on the left flank but his cross turns into a shot and flies into the side netting.

Allegri's side have been better going forward than their previous game against Melbourne when they lost on penalties after drawing 1-1.

Chadli and Janssen have been very quiet, the latter can complain that there has been no service.

Lirola makes a good run down the right but Trippier makes a good block for a corner. The set piece is floated to the edge of the box but comes to nothing.

Spurs have a promising break forward Carroll is in the area and opts to slide the ball through to Janssen rather than shoot and the keeper collects after Juve make a hash of a clearance.

Spurs definitely need to make at least one change at the break, there will be no surprise if Lamela is introduced.

Miller goes down in the box after squeezing between Lirola and Benatia but the referee tells him to get up. That was a nice slalom run from the youngster.

Pjanic apologies to Mason for a kung-fu style high boot that nearly caught the Spurs man in the face.

Carroll drifts into space on the left and sends in an inviting cross, but its headed behind by Benatia for a corner. The corner is partially cleared, it falls to Carroll again who sends in another cross which falls to Son whose header goes well wide.

Spurs enjoying more possession, with Wanyama keeping things ticking over, but their final ball is letting them down.

Spurs are back in action on Friday at the same ground against Atletico Madrid.

Spurs midfielder Miller is a former child actor who appeared in an adaption of Oliver Twist.

We've reached the midway point of the first half and its been all Juve, they have been clinical in their finishing.

Nothing to report on Janssen yet, the Dutchman has hardly had a touch.

SO CLOSE! Ball plays a hospital pass back to Vorm, Dybala intercepts it from a tight angle but the keeper is able to make a challenge and the ball goes out of play.

GOAL! Benatia scores on his debut! The corner is not cleared, the ball is floated in again and the defender executes an impressive glancing header which floats into the top left corner to make it 2-0.

GOOD SAVE! Dybala runs onto a long ball and lashes in a swerving effort which Vorm beats away for a corner.

Spurs have fielded a very inexperienced line-up, Trippier appears to be the most experenced in their defence.

Juve have another free-kick in a similar position near the opposite flank. Dybala will take it but his delivery is over-hit and goes out for a goal kick

The Italians have a free-kick 35 yards out near the right flank. Pjanic looks to cross but instead squares it to Asamoah, the move eventually breaks down - that was a waste.

That was a harsh lesson for Carter-Vickers who mis-controlled the ball, allowing Juve to pounce quickly.

GOAL! Carter-Vickers gives away the ball in a dangerous position, Pereyra picks it up and feeds Dybala who fires his shot across Vorm into the net.

It's a chance for Wanyama to impress today following his big money move from Southampton. It will be tough to break into the starting lineup ahead of Dier or Dembele.

Great challenge by Carter-Vickers! The youngster robbed Dybala after the Argentine was fed the ball and was shaping to shoot from the edge of the box after finding himself in acres of space.

Juve are in an unfamiliar royal blue strip. Benatia shows his pace to get ahead of Janssen and make an important clearance following a through ball.

Spurs, in their gold strip, get the game underway.

There was a slight delay with the players coming out but both teams are finally on the pitch, have done the customary handshakes and photos so we should be ready to roll.

In absence of Kane, Spurs will line-up 4-2-3-1 with Janssen playing as a lone striker.

The Melbourne Cricket Ground is the location for today's game. Spurs' last visit there was not a happy one, they were beaten 4-1 by Real Madrid last summer.

In the build-up to the game, Mauricio Pochettino insists he will not be returning to his homeland to manage Argentina: "The speculation is normal because I am an Argentinian coach at a top club in England.

"There are a lot of rumours that appear but I am very happy at Tottenham and so, for that reason, this is not the right moment."

Max Allegri gives debuts to €32 million man Pjanic and loan signing Benatia. Manchester United target Paul Pogba was last seen in a swimming pool on holiday with his agent.

Spurs include their two big signings, Wanyama and Janssen, in the starting line-up while all the players that featured for England in the disappointing Euro 2016 campaign did not travel to Australia. Eriksen was not selected due to an illness.

JUVENTUS: Neto, Lirola, Benatia, Rugani, Alex Sandro, Lemina, Hernanes, Asamoah, Pjanic, Pereyra; Dybala. /// TOTTENHAM: Vorm, Trippier, Ball, Carter-Vickers, Miller, Mason, Wanyama, Son, Carroll, Chadli, Janssen.
