The 20-year-old slipped in City's third goal in a blistering first half to help Pep Guardiola's side to a convincing victory.
City have now won 11 and drawn four times in the 15 Premier League matches Jesus has appeared in since arriving from Palmeiras in January.
Here, Press Association Sport assesses the Brazilian's contribution at Vicarage Road.
POSITIONING
Jesus began the game on the left of a three-pronged attack, with Sergio Aguero in the middle and Raheem Sterling on the opposite flank. He occasionally drifted into a more central position, looking to feed off the regular service of creative midfielders Kevin De Bruyne and David Silva.
LINK-UP PLAY
He had a quiet opening half hour in Hertfordshire but was then instrumental in City's second goal, slipping in David Silva on the left for the Spaniard to square to goalscorer Aguero. He showcased some of his tricks in the second half before being replaced by Bernardo Silva in the 65th minute with the score 4-0 and the three points in the bag.
GOAL THREAT
Jesus had few sights of goal until the 38th minute when he raced through and confidently tucked Aguero's pass into the bottom left corner. It looked debatable as to whether he was onside but, despite a quick glance at the linesman and the displeasure of the home fans, the flag stayed down.
OVERALL
Jesus enjoyed another memorable afternoon in a City shirt and was one of a number of stand-out performers. He was less influential than the likes of De Bruyne, Aguero and David Silva but contributed well to City's slick play and took his goal well.
