And there's the full-time whistle! An easy night for Belgium, and it's Man Utd 2-1 Chelsea as Hazard and Fellaini score, with Hazard also on target...
- GoalMarouane FellainiBelgium
GOAL! It's the icing on the cake for Belgium as Batshuayi takes the ball to the byline before cutting it back for Fellaini, who taps the ball into the empty net.
THREE minutes added on.
Time running out for Egypt to grab something from this, but they've been very poor throughout. Worrying signs if Salah doesn't regain fitness in time for their opener.
SAVE! Januzaj turns and shoots on the edge of the area, but his curled effort is too close to the goalkeeper.
Boyata's first contribution in this game is a vital one as he intercepts at the final second to deny Egypt.
JUST WIDE! Januzaj's shot is blocked and falls for Batshuayi, but he can't quite turn his effort on goal.
- OffJan VertonghenBelgium
- OnDedryck BoyataBelgium
Vertonghen heads off after making his 101st cap for the Red Devils.
De Bruyne draws the foul 20 yards out, and he picks himself up to take the free-kick, but his effort is straight at Elshenawy, who makes a routine save.
- OffAmr WardaEgypt
- OnOmar GaberEgypt
Egypt pile players forward for a corner, and they're almost exposed at the back as Courtois catches and plays the ball forward, but De Bruyne's ball cannot find Batshuayi.
Carrasco has been Belgium's most impressive player this half. A cross from him is blocked by Elmohamady, and once more a short corner is poorly executed by Belgium.
Game just lost its sting given the string of subs this half. So often the way in friendlies, and unless Belgium add to their two-goal lead, you imagine Martinez will be drawing the majority of positives from the first half.
- OffAhmed FathyEgypt
- OnAhmed Al-MuhamadiEgypt
And here's Villa's Elmohamady for the visitors...
- OffThomas MeunierBelgium
- OnThorgan HazardBelgium
Time for the tounger Hazard...
BLOCKED! The ball falls for Carrasco beyond the back post, but after taking a touch his effort is straight at Elshenawy.
- Yellow cardMohamed ElnenyEgypt
Elneny doesn't do friendlies. He was furious in the first half after fouling Hazard, and he talks his way into the book after reacting to a referee decision which went against Egypt. It's De Bruyne who has to drag him away from the referee to avoid further punishment.
- OffRamadan SobhiEgypt
- OnMahmoud KahrabaEgypt
And now sub No 4, with Ramadan heading off...
Ramadan appears to be through on goal for Egypt, but he dithers on the ball when he really needed to take it on, and back comes Carrasco of all people to make the interception.
SAVE! Courtois called into action once more, and it's a good save from Ramadan, whose effort was heading for the bottom corner.
- OffTarek HamedEgypt
- OnSam MorsyEgypt
Sub No 3 for Egypt...
OVER! Chadli, the surprise package of this Belgium squad given how little he played for West Brom this season, does well down the wing and picks out Meunier in the middle, but he lacks composure when scuffing an effort over the bar.
De Bruyne works himself some space in the middle of the park, but after setting himself to shoot, he gets his effort all wrong and it's well over the bar.
Almost quite the impact from Trezeguet! He latches onto a pass inside the area, but with his weaker foot he cannot cut it beyond Courtois, who gets down to make a simple save.
- OffMarwan MohsenEgypt
Sub... And no, not that Trezeguet.
Egypt have offered little in attack, and Hamed's strike from distance is well over and not going to trouble Courtois.
Plenty of possession for Belgium still. Alderweireld sees a shot blocked and out for a corner, but once more it comes to nothing after De Bruyne plays it short.
Belgium just finding their shape once more after a quartet of half-time subs. Hazard ran the show in the first half too, so they'll likely lean on De Bruyne more now for as long as he stays on.
Bright start to the second half from Belgium, and Meunier wins the hosts a corner. De Bruyne's cross picks out Chadli on the edge of the area, but we'll put that down to a lack of match practice as he doesn't even connect with a first-time volley attempt.

- 2nd Half
And we are back under way in Brussels. It was all Belgium in the first half, can only see that continuing in the second.
Fellaini, Januzaj, Batshuayi, Chadli have all come on for the hosts.
Hazard, Lukaku, Mertens, Witsel make way.
Iran make a 'keeper change, with Elshenawy on.
- End of 1st Half
And there goes the half-time whistle. A thoroughly satisfying opening 45 if you're a Belgium fan, with their players finding their groove against a poor Belgium side. Will expect changes aplenty after the break.
Just the one minute added on as De Bruyne fires a speculative shot from distance well over.
Courtois called into action for once, but it's to simply catch a cross from Warda which is all too close to the Belgian goalkeeper.
A routine first half for Belgium so far, and Martinez will be delighted to see his stars firing after their goalless draw with Portugal. Positive signs, but Egypt have been dire.
- GoalEden HazardBelgium
GOAL! Too easy for Belgium, and it's now two for the hosts. It's captain Hazard on target this time, as he burries the ball beyond El Hadary after Carrasco chased down a lost cause out wide when Fathy had the ball. Scuffed effort from Hazard, too, but he won't care.
NO PENALTY! De Bruyne, out wide, looks to take on Fathy but as he heads towards the byline, but he goes down a bit too easy in search of a penalty.
Almost a training session this for Belgium. They have been utterly dominant.
Hazard once more at the heart of the action, but he cannot keep his effort down after the ball falls kindly to him inside the area.
Hazard draws the foul from Elneny, who is fuming with the Belgian and makes his feelings known to the referee. It's on the edge of the area, but towards to corner of the box. Cross or shot?
De Bruyne leaves it for Mertens, but his attempt flies well over.
- GoalRomelu LukakuBelgium
GOAL! Lukaku opens the scoring for Belgium! It's his 31st goal for the Red Devils, and it comes after he reacts quickest from an Eden Hazard attempt, which El Hadary parried kindly into the Manchester United forward's path.
Egypt afford Hazard a bit too much space, and he has time to find Lukaku on the edge of the area, but from nowhere Fathy comes in to intercept and relieve the pressure.
WIDE! But this time it's Egypt who go close. And Mohsen should really do better as well, but he sends a headed wide 10 yards out from Abdelshafy's cross.
WIDE! Not quite sure how Lukaku has stabbed this wide?! Mertens' low cross picks out Lukaku between two defenders, but he opts to wait and bring it onto his left foot. However, from barely six yards out, he fires wide of the mark...
A beautiful ball over the top is met by Said for Egypt, he takes a touch before cutting inside, but his shot is blocked and out for a corner, which Belgium head clear.
The corner comes to nothing for Belgium after Hazard plays it short once more, but the hosts remain firmly on top in the first half.
SAVE! That really is nice play from Belgium. Hazard plays a quick one-two with De Bruyne before the Chelsea forward plays it over to Mertens, whose strike is tipped over the bar by El Hadary.
Egypt force their way forward into the Belgium half. It's Elneny who opts to shoot from distance after it falls kindly for him, but it's ultimately blocked.
All Belgium this, but they've yet to find that killer final ball. Lukaku a bit quiet up top, but he's just waiting for that perfect ball to come in. KDB and Hazard seeing plenty of it, in the meantime.
- Yellow cardAhmed FathyEgypt
Martinez will be slightly concerned by this opening nine minutes or so, not by his own side's start, but because of the ferocity Egypt players are going into tackles. This time it's Fathy who needlessly dives in on Carrasco - another poor challenge, and he picks up a yellow.
That's TWO BOOKING in NINE MINUTES..... IN A FRIENDLY
The type of dangerous ball into the box we've grown used to seeing from De Bruyne. His first touch is perfect and that allows him to swipe a low cross into the area, but it just evades Lukaku, and Carrasco too at the back post.
First time we saw De Bruyne on the ball, and he tries a cute ball into the Egypt box, but it bounces through to El Hadary.
KDB then plays a one-two with Hazard from a corner, but his cross cannot find a Belgianhead.
It's a decent start from Egypt in truth, but Vertonghen does well to earn the hosts a goal-kick following Ramadan's ball over the top.
- Yellow cardTarek HamedEgypt
A rude awakening for Hazard, who is fouled by Hamed within the first two minutes. It earns the Egypt player the earliest yellow card you're likely to see in a friendly, and Martinez makes his feelings known on the sidelines.
- 1st Half
And we are under way. Belgium looking to better their 0-0 draw with Portugal on the weekend, while Egypt also played out a stalemate with Colombia on Friday.
Teams are out in Brussels. There will of course be some intrigue regarding how the Belgian fans respond to tonight's performances. It's safe to say Martinez is yet to win them all over.
The 23-man squads were finalised on Monday, and there are some notable ommissions...
Have we met before?
Egypt and Belgium have faced off just once. In a friendly. 13 years ago.
It ended 4-0 to the African side that evening. Odds of them repeating the feat by that scoreline will be in the 100s.
Make that six Premier League players in Belgium’s starting XI, while Mohamed Elneny, Ahmed Hegazi, Ali Gabr and Ramadan Sobhi also feature for Egypt.
Fellaini, Dembele, Chadli, Mignolet and Batshuayi are among the subs for Belgium too, and will hope to get a runout. Kompany, meanwhile, is still fighting to regain fitness ahead of the World Cup.
All eyes on Egypt goalkeeper Essam El Hadary too, who at 45 is set to become the oldest ever player to feature at a World Cup. Remarkable.
Belgium XI: Courtois, Alderweireld, Ciman, Vertonghen, Meunier, Witsel, De Bruyne, Carrasco, Hazard, Mertens, Lukaku.
Egypt XI: El Hadary, Fathi, Gabr, Hegazi, Abdelshafy, Hamed, Elneny, Elsaid, Sobhi, Warda, Mohsen
