Fekir did well to work space for the shot, Doyle got two hands to it, the ball looped in the air, spun back towards goal, just out of Doyle's reach.
GOAL! France 2-0 Republic of Ireland. Poor goalkeeping from Doyle as Fekir's strike sneaks past him as the French double their advantage.
The hosts are getting much more joy now with Ireland looking rattled.
If at first you don't succeed and all that. Giroud got up highest to meet Fekir's corner, Doyle made a fine save, but Giroud was on hand to bundle home the rebound. His 31st international goal.

POST! Great feet from Sidibe to then pick out Tolisso, who curls for goal first time, Doyle is beaten but the post comes to his rescue.

France beat the Republic 2-1 in their last encounter at Euro 2016. Atletico Madrid striker Antoine Griezmann scored both goals for the hosts in the Paris quarter-final. The teams have met 16 times with the French prevailing in seven games while the most recent of the Republic's four victories came in 1981. The Irish won't forget the Thierry Henry handball from 2009 in a hurry that's for sure! We are minutes away here!
