Romania again attacking well down the left flank and Cicaldau has room to shoot after running outside Mings but shoots wide.

Another chance for Romania. Rashford misses a defensive header and Sorescu hits a stylish knee high volley just a yard wide.

Marin shoots at goal from the edge of the box but his effort is blocked.

Ward-Prowse crosses from the right flank and Calvert-Lewin shoots with on the volley but his effort is denied by Nita.

Henderson is on for Phillips. Will be interesting to see how he looks.

Barring hitting the bar twice England did not really do enough in that half. Will be interesting to see who gets a chance in the second half.

Johnstone saves England saving with his feet from the best move of the match as Sorescu plays a one-two with Stanciu before shooting low on target but the West Brom stopper denies him. The ball then falls to Marin whose effort is a yard or so over the bar.

Another lovely ball into the box from Ward-Prowse and Calvert-Lewin met the ball in front of the keeper but Rashford was, a bit harshly, penalised for blocking a defender.

Off the bar! Grealish dribbles into the box and plays a short ball back to Sancho who curled a tremendous effort that again smacked the face of the bar.

Rashford with a tame effort from 25 yards but it is England's first effort on target.

Mings is caught the wrong side of Alibec on the break and brings him down to stop the Romanian move. Might have gone in the book for that in the tournament.

Grealish gets to the by-line but hits a poor cross clearing the players in the centre.

With England's best crosser of the ball not in the tournament Southgate must be thinking about picking Ward-Prowse. No one in the squad is close to him at taking set pieces.

Off the bar! Calvert-Lewin heads Ward-Prowse's free kick against the bar.

Paun controls well at the edge of the box and tries a half-volley at goal but it is easy for Johnstone diving to his right.

Rashford goes down in the box under the challenge of Chiriches. The referee right not to give a spot kick. Will be strange to think for older England fans that referees will be as wary of England players diving as any other nationaltiy.

Sancho pulls back to Godfrey who shoots high over the bar with his left foot from the edge of the box.

Rashford gets to the by-line and pulls back to a good area six yards out, if there were any payers there - there were not, Calvert-Lewin and Sancho both closer to goal.

Nice ball inside the right back from Sancho for Rashford but Nita came out to gather at his feet.

Godfrey clears in front of Camora at the back post after Ivan flicks on Stanciu's cross.
