Full-time: France step up their preparations for Euro 2020 with this comfortable 3-0 victory over Wales. Goals from Kylian Mbappe, Antoine Griezmann and Ousmane Dembele.

Just the two minutes to be added on here in Nice. It could have been a whole lot worse for Wales tonight but they have rolled their sleeves up and reduced France to three goals and a handful of half chances despite playing with just 10 men for over an hour.

It's not for want of trying in Benzema's case as he shoots over this time.

Save on Benzema! It's not going to be the 33-year-old's night, is it? He gets up well to connect with a powerful header but Ward, who hasn't deserved to concede three tonight, is equal to it once more.

France sub: Ben Yedder comes on for Griezmann.

Wales sub: Morall is replaced by 19-year-old Rubin Colwill, who makes his debut.

GOAL! France 3-0 Wales (Dembele): That'll do it! Moments after coming on, Dembele is on the scoresheet. Benzema swivels and hits the post and it falls kindly for Dembele who is left with a simple finish.

Brooks wins the argument to take the free-kick but he'll wish he hadn't as his dink is easily blocked by the France wall.

Free-kick to Wales! The excellent Ramsey receives the ball from Moore before winning a free-kick on the edge of the box after a foul from Varane.

Wales sub: The impressive James is replaced by Brooks for the final 15 minutes.

A tame effort from Morrell as he shoots over from distance.

Benzema is desperate to get on the scoresheet and he doesn't need to be asked twice to shoot after picking up space on the edge of the penalty area, this time his effort is deflected behind for a corner.

Another save from Ward! Mbappe surges down the left and tries to squeeze it past Ward at his near post but the Wales goalkeeper keeps it out.

France sub: Sissoko comes on for Tolisso.

Chance for Wales! A moment of genius from Ramsey, who receives the ball in a pocket of space, looks up and threads a lovely ball into the feet of James. He strikes it well but Lloris is equal to it and makes the save. The loose ball is scrambled around the penalty area but France eventually clear.

France sub: Coman comes on for Pogba, who has had another good game for his country.

Wales are having to absorb a lot of pressure. It looked like the floodgates might open at the start of the second-half but they've done well to contain France.

Wales have gone to a back four.

Subs! Four changes in total as Bale, Allen, Mepham and Wilson are replaced by Ramsey, Moore, Davies and Levitt.

France are purring at the moment, as Benzema exchanges a one-two with Tolisso but Roberts is there this time to get in the way. Wales are preparing a number of changes now.

Save! Pogba tries his luck from 25 yards, it bounces awkwardly in front of Ward but the Wales goalkeeper keeps his eye on the ball and makes an impressive stop, even holding onto the ball.

A lovely ball from Kounde is played into the feet of Griezmann but Wales stand firm defensively this time.

Much better from Wales as Morrell releases Roberts, but Kimpembe races back to make an inch-perfect tackle and stop the Wales man in his tracks.

Here come France once more as they attack from the left, Digne's cross is searching for Pogba but Rodon gets there first.

GOAL! France 2-0 Wales (Antoine Griezmann): An exquisite finish from the Barcelona forward! Pogba rolls it to Mbappe, whose flick tees up Griezmann for a shot from 20 yards. He curls it into the top corner and that is simply fantastic.

Kick-off! Wales get us underway in the second-half. No changes for the visitors, but Digne replaces Hernandez while Kounde comes on for his debut to replace Pavard.

Half-time: France 1-0 Wales

Wales win a free-kick on the right, can they finish the half on a high? Wilson floats the cross in, Rabiot rises highest to win the header before a team mate scrambles it clear.

Over! Excellent football from France, who seem to be just getting into their rhythm now. There's some one-touch football in and around the box before Benzema ushers in Mbappe but it's a poor finish from the PSG forward as he blazes over the bar.

France open the scoring...

Benzema heads wide from a corner but replays show he was having his shirt tugged. Thankfully, from a Wales point-of-view, this one isn't going to be checked by VAR.

A moment Wales will want to forget...

GOAL! France 1-0 Wales (Kylian Mbappe): This could be a long, long night for Wales now. Rabiot's shot takes a deflection off the boot of Griezmann, Ward does well to save with his foot but Mbappe is quick to pounce and stabs it past the helpless Wales goalkeeper. It's Mbappe's 17th goal for his country.

Williams' straight red card is a major blow tonight but thankfully he will not be suspended for Euro 2020.

Very, very difficult task for Wales now. And here come France again attacking down the left, but Rodon clears Griezmann's cross behind for a corner and the subsequent set-piece is cleared by Allen.

It's saved! Nothing wrong with Benzema's penalty but Ward guesses the right way and gets a strong hand to the spot-kick to push it away from goal.

Penalty to France and a straight red card to Williams! The spot-kick is given and that's little surprise. But what is a surprise is that the referee also shows a straight red card to Williams for what he feels is a deliberate handball. That looks very harsh.

Benzema would have scored if Williams hadn't blocked the shot with his hand and the referee is having a long look at this on the screen.

What a save! Rodon clears from the resulting corner, but France recycle the ball and Griezmann delivers a cross from the left, Pogba attacks it with a bullet header and somehow Ward keeps it out! Benzema's rebound strikes the arm of Williams and France are appealing for a penalty... and it's going to VAR.

Bale is back to fulfil his defensive duties, heading Griezmann's cross behind for a corner.

Rodon gets dragged out onto the flank to deal with Mbappe and the PSG star skips away from him easily before digging out a cross. But Gunter had read the situation and made the move inside and he's well positioned to head behind for a corner.

There are few things more frightening in football than Mbappe running at you but Roberts keeps his eye on the ball, gets his body between man and ball and shields it out of play, winning a free-kick in the process.

Wilson carves inside, creating the space to get a left-footed shot away from the edge of the box but it's a wild effort, well over the bar.

It has been a thoroughly entertaining start to proceedings, which is rather unusual for a friendly match. But there are still places up for grabs and perhaps it should be no surprise that players are trying to make an impression.

A talented group.

Pogba tries to switch the ball from left to right but gets too much contact and Pavard can't keep it in.

Bale runs into trouble, losing the ball to Hernandez before throwing himself to the ground. It didn't look like a foul and the Portuguese referee agrees.

Kimpembe is in position once again to clear James' left-wing cross. Pogba then gets in the way of a weak shot. Decent start from Wales, this.

Shot! Action down at the other end now as Wales break and James' rapid pace causes France all kind of problems. With no support, the Manchester United wideman goes for goal from a tight angle and Lloris keeps it out comfortably enough before Kimpembe clears before Allen arrives.

Save! Ward is forced into his first save of the night, getting down to parry Benzema's bullet header clear from Pogba's cross from the right.

France start on the front foot immediately as the ball is worked to Hernandez on the left flank but his cross is headed away by Rodon.

Kick-off! A handshake between Lloris and Bale, the coin is tossed and it's France who get the game underway after the players take the knee. There are no fans in attendance tonight unfortunately.

It's time for the national anthems...

FIVE minutes until kick-off! It's France versus Wales in this Euro 2020 warm-up at Allianz Riviera. It's LIVE and it's NEXT!

The last thing Wales need is to be on the receiving end of a heavy defeat just a week before the tournament starts. But boy do they have their work cut out for them tonight. The inclusion of Joe Allen is a huge boost as he plays his first game for club or country since the World Cup qualifier against Belgium back in March.

Did you know? This is only France's fourth match at the Allianz Riviera in Nice - they are unbeaten in their previous three games at the stadium (W2 D1), all friendlies between 2014 and 2018.

Opta stat: Wales have won just one of their five previous meetings with France (D1 L3), beating Les Bleus 1-0 in Toulouse in 1982 with Ian Rush scoring the winner. All previous meetings have been friendlies.

More from Page: "They've [France] got a decent squad haven't they? "They could pick one of three 11s and compete in the Euros. You want to play against the best, and they certainly fall into that category."

Page on tonight's friendly: "It’s a great test for many reasons. We are going to face similar opposition against Switzerland in how they press and how aggressive they are. It’s a worthwhile exercise to give us a heads up in what we are going to face against Switzerland."

Hugo Lloris will make his 100th appearance for his country tonight in his home city of Nice.

Gareth Bale starts for Wales and will be supported by Harry Wilson and Daniel James, but there are a number of notable absences including Aaron Ramsey, Ben Davies and Ethan Ampadu.

Wow, Didier Deschamps is certainly not messing about here. He hands Karim Benzema his first start in more than five years and he's partnered by Kylian Mbappe and Antoine Griezmann in a mouth-watering attack. Paul Pogba starts in midfield too.

BALE STARTS FOR WALES... Starting XI: Ward, Roberts, Mepham, Rodon, Gunter, N Williams, Allen, Morrell, Bale, James, Wilson.. subs: Hennessey, A Davies, Cabango, Norrington-Davies, B Davies, J Williams, Levitt, Ramsey, Brooks, Colwill, Roberts, Moore.

FRANCE GO STRONG - Here's their starting XI: Lloris, Pavard, Varane, Kimpembe, Hernandez, Tolisso, Pogba, Rabiot, Griezmann, Mbappe, Benzema.

Hello and welcome to Eurosport's LIVE text commentary of the Euro 2020 warm-up match between France and Wales. Les Bleus are amongst the tournament's favourites and will be hoping to keep momentum up having breezed through qualification. This is good preparation for Wales - led by Robert Page in the absence of Ryan Giggs - who have Italy, Switzerland and Turkey in their group, so it will be interesting to see how they cope with the reigning World Cup champions tonight. We will have all the build-up to the match before the drama begins to unfold at 20:05.
