England win a free-kick around 30-yards out from goal. Mount clips in a ball towards the far post, but the Swiss defence head the ball clear.

HALF-TIME: ENGLAND 1-1 SWITZERLAND
After two added minutes, the first half comes to a close. Switzerland will be disappointed to concede just before the break, but what a strike from Luke Shaw to get England back in the game.
All to play for in the second half!

GOALLLLL! ENGLAND ARE LEVEL
Luke Shaw scores a great goal to put the Three Lions back on terms seconds before half-time!
It was a bad mistake from Frei that gifted England this chance. He was caught in possession by Walker-Peters, who then played in Gallagher at the edge of the box. He squares it across goal - Mount leaves it for Shaw to hit, and hit it he does. His strike from the edge of the area flies in to the roof of the net!

OFF THE POST!
Switzerland hit the woodwork again! This time it was directly from a corner. Kane was guarding the near post but it made no difference as the ball cannons back off the frame of the goal!
Gallagher hacks the ball clear very quickly but the danger is not over - Rodriguez picks the ball up from 25-yards and hits one from distance, and Pickford tips the ball away. The rebound then falls to Embolo, but he drags his shot wide of the far post. Switzerland are creating plenty of openings here and England look shaky at the back!

SWITZERLAND CHANGE
Widmer has not recovered from his earlier whack and is replaced by Mbabu for Switzerland.

OFFSIDE!
England hit the post!
Foden is played in with a through ball by Mount, and his is through on goal. He opts not to shoot and instead cuts it back across goal for an advancing Walker-Peters, but his first-time effort comes back off the woodwork!
However, any potential goal would not have stood as Foden made his run a yard too soon and was offside.

WATCH: SWITZERLAND TAKE THE LEAD
Breel Embolo heads in Xherdan Shaqiri's cross to give Nati the lead!

INJURY STOPPAGE
Widmer is caught with a bad kick to the back of his ankle by Foden - it was totally accidental.
The England man was about to take a shot, but his foot connected with the Swiss defender instead. That looked painful.
He is back on his feet, and should be okay to carry on.

OFF THE BAR!
Frei hits a fizzing shot from inside the area and it smacks against the upright! England are rattled here!
Replays show that Pickford just about got a touch to the ball to tip it onto the bar. Big save!

GOALLLL! SWITZERLAND TAKE THE LEAD
The away side strike first! Breel Embolo heads in Xherdan Shaqiri's deep cross from the right!
The header sails beyond Jordan Pickford and into the bottom corner. Ben White got completely out-jumped there. The referee checks with the VAR for a possible offside in the build-up but the check is complete and the goal stands!

SAVE!
Pickford is called into action!
Xhaka hits one from distance, and it is heading low into the bottom corner, but the England goalkeeper tips it away and Guehi scrambles to clear but not very far!

STRONG CHALLENGE!
Ben White showcases his ball-playing ability from defence and clips one forward to Luke Shaw on the left flank. The wing-back does well to flick the ball on for Mason Mount ahead of him on the wing.
The Chelsea man then attempts to run in behind Manuel Akanji, but the Swiss centre-half stops the danger with a strong challenge which sees the ball go behind for a throw-in.
13'
HALF-CHANCE!
Kane plays in Gallagher to his right, and the midfielder drives forward with the ball down the flank. He then cuts inside on the edge of the area and tries to curl one into the top corner, but Frei heads the ball clear.

GOAL-KICK
A ball is played in behind for Steffen, but the Swiss midfielder cannot keep the ball in and it goes out for an England goal-kick. Definitely potential for this game to become more open as the half progresses.

TACKLE IN NICK OF TIME
England have their first foray forward as Phil Foden breaks from midfield and plays in Harry Kane. His touch is poor, however, and the ball is nicked off him.
