Football news - Fabinho makes first Liverpool start; Alvaro Morata leads Chelsea line

Fabinho will make his full Liverpool debut when Liverpool entertain Chelsea in the Carabao Cup third round at Anfield.

The summer signing from Monaco has only featured off the bench for the Reds, but will have the chance to make an impression in a heavily-rotated side.

Daniel Sturridge and Xherdan Shaqiri start too, while the back five – Simon Mignolet, Nathaniel Clyne, Dejan Lovren, Joel Matip and Alberto Moreno – has a somewhat nostalgic feel.

Alvaro Morata is tasked with firing the goals for the visitors, with Ross Barkley, Mateo Kovacic, Emerson and Victor Moses also handed starts.
