The League Cup final between Chelsea and Manchester City will be settled by extra time – or penalties – after a goalless 90 minutes at Wembley Stadium.

After containing City in the opening period, Chelsea grew into the contest and controlled much of the second half.

N’Golo Kante spurned the best chance, firing over after Eden Hazard’s cut-back, while Sergio Aguero had a goal ruled out for offside at the other end.
