Football news - Sarri brings out laptop to try and prove Kane was offside in controversial VAR call

You may have heard there was a little VAR controversy last night in the League Cup match between Tottenham and Chelsea.
Harry Kane was brought down by Chelsea keeper Kepa on 25 minutes, but was flagged offside by the assistant referee.
However, ref Michael Oliver consulted VAR and the penalty was given, with the officials deciding Kane was narrowly onside as the ball was played.
The incident sparked a flurry of screengrabs across social media as fans tried to decipher whether the decision was correct.
And Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri even got into the act, bringing a laptop into the press room after the match to try and prove that the decision was wrong – and that Kane was offside.
To be fair, it looked like he had a point on the footage Chelsea had obtained…
