FULL-TIME: It's all over! Manchester United are through to the last eight of the Carabao Cup, thanks to Marcus Rashford's memorable double.
Chelsea win a corner - they will have one more chance! Hudson-Odoi takes... but United clear. That's surely that!
Abraham fouls Rojo and United will waste more time. They're so close to a quarter-final spot of this year's Carabao Cup.
- Yellow cardMateo KovacicChelsea
Martial curls an effort wide, moments before Kovacic goes into the book. We're into stoppage time now. There will be FOUR minutes added on!
Zouma shoots from a long, long way out. Predictably, it doesn't ever look like troubling Romero.
As it stands, Rashford's outrageous 30-yard free-kick is going to win United this game. It would be a worthy winner.
Wide! Kovacic blasts the ball well wide from 20 yards, as Chelsea's desperation grows. He's yet to score for the Blues.
- Yellow cardFredManchester United
Yellow card! Fred is booked for time-wasting. United have seven minutes to hold onto this slender lead.
Wow, wow, wow. You won't get tired of watching this (unless you're a Chelsea fan).
- OffMarcus RashfordManchester United
- OnAshley YoungManchester United
Man United sub: There will be no hat-trick for Rashford, who is replaced by Young, as Solskjaer shores up his defence.
- OffMichy BatshuayiChelsea
- OnTammy AbrahamChelsea
Chelsea sub: Tammy Abraham replaces Batshuayi for the last 10 minutes.
McTominay is fortunate not to be shown a second yellow card for a foul in midfield.
That was truly special from Rashford. Outrageous.
- GoalMarcus RashfordManchester United
GOAL! Chelsea 1-2 Man United: And what a goal! It's a sensational free-kick from Rashford! Thirty yards out, he lifts it over the wall and the ball sails into the top corner, leaving Caballero with no chance!
Batshuayi is again allowed the opportunity to run at Rojo but this time he loses his footing and United get away with one.
- OffBilly GilmourChelsea
- OnMason MountChelsea
Double Chelsea sub: Mason Mount and Pedro come on for Gilmour and Pulisic.
United already looking better with that double change, as Fred flashes a dangerous ball across the face of goal.
United are now operating with a 3-4-1-2. Martial has a formidable scoring record against Chelsea - can he make an impact in the last 20 minutes?
- OffJesse LingardManchester United
- OnAndreas PereiraManchester United
Double United sub: Lindelof limps off to be replaced by Anthony Martial, while the disappointing Lingard makes way for Andreas Pereira.
The leveller is just rewards for Chelsea's efforts since the restart. They have dominated proceedings. The pressure was going to tell sooner rather than later.
The finger of blame for Chelsea's equaliser will be pointed at Maguire, who was beaten twice in the build-up to Batshuayi's excellent goal.
And it's level at Anfield, too - 5-5!
- GoalMichy BatshuayiChelsea
GOAL! Chelsea 1-1 Man United: Batshuyai levels with a fine solo effort! He sets off from the halfway line with real power and pace, and with four players circling round him, he creates the angle for a shot and fires it past Romero from 25 yards.
Chance! A ball over the top catches Williams napping as Hudson-Odoi controls in a dangerous position, but he tries an ambitious first-time volley which flashes over Romero's bar.
Another penalty appeal! Less demand for this one, however. Reece James' cross appeared to hit the arm of Williams, but that would have been harsh. Nothing doing from the referee.
Reece James delivers an early cross to the back post - but there's no one in blue on the other end of it!
Pulisic pulls a shot wide from the edge of the penalty area, but this is much, much better from Chelsea now.
No penalty! Huge appeals for a handball as Rojo blocks Gilmour's shot. The referee is well placed but allows play to continue. Chelsea are furious.
What a chance! Chelsea's best opportunity of the match. Alonso centres a lovely ball across the face of goal, it's begging to be finished, but the ball rolls over the foot of Hudson-Odoi.
Chelsea have gone more direct since the restart. Lampard's intent on playing quicker and putting the United backline under more pressure.
Hudson-Odoi is hurt after being pushed over the advertising hoardings by Williams, but somehow the young United wingback escapes a yellow card.
- 2nd Half
Chelsea get the second-half up and going. It's now 5-4 to Arsenal at Anfield, let's hope for more goals at Stamford Bridge.
Half-time: Marcus Rashford's penalty separates the sides at the break.
Only one minute will be added on at the end of the first half. By the way, it's now Liverpool 4-4 Arsenal!
For all of Chelsea's possession they have yet to register a shot on target. United, led by Maguire, have been resolute at the back.
Arsenal are now leading Liverpool 4-3! What a game!
The young Scotland international is growing as a player every week...
A lovely move from Chelsea, as Hudson-Odoi feeds Reece James who pulls a lovely ball into the path of Gilmour, but Wan-Bissaka reacts quickest to clear. Three Chelsea youth products involved there and how proud would a goal have made Lampard?
As Hudson-Odoi overcooks his cross and lobs it over everyone in a crowded United penalty area...
Better from Chelsea, as they zip the ball around confidently, switching it to the left where Reece James wins a corner.
McTominay is on a yellow card, but he wins the ball with a good tackle in a good area, setting United up for another attack. James searches for Rashford with his cross but it's cleared by a Chelsea head.
It was brave of Rashford to take United's penalty after missing from the spot at the weekend. He's got his reward.
United have been the better side for the last 10 minutes and now they have their lead, through Rashford's third goal against Chelsea this season.
- Goal by penaltyMarcus RashfordManchester United
GOAL! Chelsea 0-1 Man United: Rashford steps up confidently and slides the ball into the left corner, sending Caballero the wrong way.
PENALTY TO MAN UNITED! Another one! James is too quick for Alonso, who brings down the flying-flanker with a clumsy challenge inside the area. The referee points to the spot.
After a slow start, United are growing into the contest. Lingard is playing through the middle in what is a big opportunity for the under-fire attacker tonight.
- Yellow cardMichy BatshuayiChelsea
Yellow card! McTominay is on the receiving end of a late foul this time, Batshuayi clattering into him. The referee is consistent and produces the yellow card for the Chelsea forward.
Well wide! Zouma makes a mess of his clearance and James pounces on the loose ball, inside the penalty area. Off balance, he gets it horribly wrong, firitng his volley closer to the corner flag.
Close! Cleverly worked corner from United, as James delivers it to McTominay on the edge of the box, but his first-time shot drifts narrowly wide.
Lingard is slipped into space on the right by Wan-Bissaka, he's expecting a run to the near post but it's not forthcoming, and his cross is blocked for a corner.
- Yellow cardScott McTominayManchester United
Yellow card! McTominay chases Lingard's misplaced pass and lunges in on Kovacic. He's into the book.
It hasn't been the best of starts for United, who have barely had a touch of the ball so far.
Arsenal are now leading 3-2 at Anfield - and it's not even half-time yet!
Lingard drives from midfield but play is brought back - he had handled the ball.
Chelsea's first corner comes to nothing, but they win another, and this time Maguire's shirt is pulled and United have a free-kick in their own penalty area.
Really good play from Chelsea, who have yet to concede possession. They work it into the path of Pulisic whose first time shot is blocked by Lindelof for a corner.
Chelsea with all the early possession, desperate to settle into the game as quickly as possible.
- 1st Half
KICK-OFF! Man United get us underway at Stamford Bridge.
Arsenal are leading Liverpool 2-1 with just half an hour on the clock, in what sounds like a classic at Anfield. The action kicks off at Stamford Bridge in just FIVE minutes!
Solskjaer: "We're in need of keeping the momentum going. We had good results last week. We have made a couple of changes but I feel this is a team that can cause Chelsea problems. They have a strong side as well, it's going to be a good game."
Lampard: "It's another competition, another opportunity to give people minutes. They deserve it from how they've done in training. I've tried to mix it about. Let's see what we can do."
Chelsea last faced Man United in the League Cup in a fourth-round tie in October 2012, winning a 5-4 thriller in extra-time, with eight different scorers on that day. There is NO extra-time tonight and there is NO VAR, either.
Lampard will be out to avenge a 4-0 opening day thrashing at the hands of United. The clubs have gone in opposite directions since then, with the Blues already seven points better off than Solskjaer's side, who have won just two more league games since.
Solskjaer: "We feel it's a team that will come here and give us a chance to go through, cause Chelsea some problems hopefully. They're [Chelsea] are a good team, good players, big strong squad. Some young players coming in, we've got some young ones. I think it'll be a good game."
Solskjaer names a more experienced side than the hosts, making just four changes from the team that recorded a 3-1 victory at Norwich. Brandon Williams is given a rare start, taking the place of Ashley Young, while Sergio Romero replaces David de Gea in goal, Anthony Martial makes way for Jesse Lingard and Marcos Rojo is in for Andreas Pereira.
Lampard makes SIX changes from his Chelsea team that won 4-2 at Burnley. Hat-trick hero Christian Pulisic keeps his place, but Willy Caballero starts in goal, while Reece James and Marc Guehi come into the defence. Billy Gilmour plays in midfield, while Callum Hudson-Odoi and Michy Batshuayi help spear the attack with Pulisic.
TEAM NEWS - Chelsea XI: Caballero, James, Zouma, Guehi, Alonso, Gilmour, Jorginho, Kovacic, Hudson-Odoi, Batshuayi, Pulisic.. subs: Cumming, Azpilicueta, Lamptey, Mount, Pedro, Abraham, Giroud. /// Man Utd XI: Romero, Wan-Bissaka, Lindelof, Maguire, Rojo, Williams, McTominay, Fred, Lingard, James, Rashford.. subs: Grant, Jones, Young, Pereira, Garner, Mata, Martial.
