Barcelona will wear a “revolutionary” new shirt next season, according to designs leaked to the Spanish media.

The Catalans are famous for their blue and red stripes, but in 2019, according to Sport, “for the first time in history there will be no vertical line on the shirt”.
Instead, Barca seem to be taking their cue from Croatia and are going to wear a checked pattern on their home shirt.
The design hasn’t been officially confirmed by the club or kit manufacturers Nike, but Sport says the pattern has been given the green light.
With Nike reportedly requiring six months to ramp up production there appears to be no turning back on Barca’s historic kit decision.
