Madrid are also in no rush to make Eden Hazard's dream of a move to Madrid come true any time soon.
According to Marca in Spain, the European champions will step up their interest in the Belgium World Cup goalkeeper Courtois, but will not be making a push to sign Brazil playmaker Willian as part of a stunning double raid.
It had been reported on Monday morning in the UK media that Madrid were keen to land Courtois and Brazil's Willian.
Madrid are apparently willing to offer around 30m euros (£26.7m) for former Atletico Madrid loan keeper Courtois, whose contract expires next year.

Madrid are also not ready to open their cheque book to test Chelsea's resolve in their bid to sign Courtois's national team-mate Hazard, who has publicly stated his desire to join Los Blancos.
With Hazard and Internazionale striker Mauro Icardi costing over £100m each, Madrid are ready to bide their time before deciding whether to make a huge splurge to bring another offensive player to the Spanish club.
Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri will be content with the news having publicly stated his desire to keep his best players.
"Hazard is a very high-level player. He’s one of the top two or three European players," said Sarri.
