Real Madrid confirmed the return of former boss Zinedine Zidane on a three-year deal on Monday evening.

The club's former player and manager resigned in the summer of 2018 after winning nine trophies in his first spell as manager of Real.

The Frenchman was replaced by ex-Spain boss Julen Lopetegui who only lasted in the role until October. Former player Santiago Solari was permanently appointed as manager, but his tenure ended early following a Champions League defeat at the hands of Ajax.
