The easiest win Real Madrid will have all season. Dani Carvajal's injury the only downside to the match for Zinedine Zidane's side. Thanks for following the match with us.

90+3'

Domenech drops Vazquez's cross but recovers to stop any further damage to the scoreline.

90+2'

Good play from Arribas and Isco on the right hand side eventually leads to a cross from Lucas into the box but it is too far in front of Diaz.

90'

Both teams look like they will be happy to see out this game.

86'

Correira's ball eventually found Racic at the far post but he could only guide an effort into the side-netting.

79'

Mordic and Benzema are rreplaced by Isco and Diaz as their coach has an eye on the big games on the horizon.

78'

Mendy has another chance as Benzema fires the ball to him in the box but the French full back can't quite get the ball under control.

75'

Substitute Arribas comes in from the right wing and drives an effort towards the near post but Domenech gets down to stop it.

74'

Benzema is getting some joy down the inside left channel and on this occasion drives a ball across Domenech but the keeper manages to clear the danger.

71'

Arribas comes on for Asensio in Real Madrid's second change.

70'

Modric stylishly created room to shoot at goal from long range but was well wide of the target.

65'

Oliva and Kang-in Lee come on for Soler and Wass for the visitors.

66'

Actually the offside was given from the ball that looked like a square pass from Vinicius but Mendy's toe was just offside from a ball perhaps played at 91 degrees.

64'

Goal disallowed! Vinicius Junior was just offside from the initial long ball played over the top for him.

63'

GOAL FOR REAL! Mendy nets for Real, easily side-stepping Ferro in the box after receiving a square ball from Vinicius Junior in the box and then powerfully stroked the ball to Domenech's right while showing the goalkeeper the eyes to put him off the scent.

59'

Modric seemed to be looking for an opening to shoot but found Benzema in the left hand side of the area whose effort was blocked by Correira.

57'

Correira's cross is only cleared to the edge of the box by Lucas and Soler drives goalwards but Varane blocked the effort.

55'

Vincius Junior pulls the ball back from the left wing to Kross 25 yards from goal which the German fives low at goal but wide of the near post.

54'

Valencia's best football of the game so far. By a mile. It ends with Maxi Gomez firing a bullet from 25 yards which Courtois saved very well diving to his left.

50'

It should have been a goal there as Modric slid the ball through for Asensio with Correira playing him on across the field but the young forward can't bring the ball under control.

49'

Musah looks lively straight away beating Lucas but not able to find an orange shirt in the penalty area.

48'

Gameiro and Musah on for Vallejo and Guedes at half time.

48'

Normal service is resumed with Real having two corners in quick succession but poor deliveries from Asensio on both occasions.

46'

Correira dives in on Vinicius Junior and picks up a yellow card. Not far from being more than that.

46'

Real Madrid get the second half underway...

Half Time

As comfortable a half as Real Madrid will have all season. Without needing to step into a higher gear they look like they have the game won already.

44'

Racic picks up a booking after fouling Vinicius Junior.

42'

GOAL FOR REAL! Kroos gives Domenech no chance with turning home a centre from substitute Lucas to double the Spanish champions' lead.

40'

Modric has another effort from long-range but it is too close to Domenech and he parries it away.

38'

It really has been a disappointing half from Valencia. So little ambition shown.

35'

Vinicius Junior plays in Lucas on the right by-line but Benzema just fails to get on the end of his pull-back across the six-yard box.

34'

Asensio took too long....a nice ball from Lucas to Modric and his backheel got the forward the ball with lots of time but he failed to take on a shot that looked so inviting until Valencia managed to shut down the space.

30'

Nice combination from Real's stars there as Kroos clips a ball to the right hand sid eof the box that Modric side-foots on the volley to Benzema and he tries a backheel on goal but Gabriel blocks the shot.

28'

Lucas Vazquez comes on for Carvajal.

27'

A booking for Guedes for a foul on Varane racing out of defence.

26'

Carvajal is walking off the field, it looks a reoccurrence of an injury. Sad to see for the full back who has had such rotten luck down the years.

24'

Casemiro powers through the middle of the field and goes down on the edge of the box under the attentions of Racic but the referee, probably correctly, waves away the complaints from him and his coach.

20'

Modric shoots from distance but sees his effort blocked.

18'

Good interception from Modric and Correira just stops Benzema's through ball reaching Vinicius Junior.

15'

No change since the goal. Madrid still dominating possession and playing in the Valencia half.

12'

GOAL FOR REAL! Benzema beats Domenech from 20 yards out, curling a low effort just inside the far post. Great finish.

11'

Carvajal has been involved early, stifling Jose Gaya's centre at one end and then playing a nice looking cross for Benzema who can't get on the end of it.

9'

Casemiro shoots low from 25 yards and Jaume dived too far away from the ball just managing to kick it away.

6'

Real Madrid having a period of possession in the Valencia half but creating nothing of note.

3'

Nice cross from Wass across the six-yard box which no one can get on the end of.

2'

Benzema is inadvertently stamped on by Correira but should be alright to carry on.

1'

Valencia get us underway...

15:13

A bit strange Real playing at their training ground and home of their reserves, Castilla, the Estadio Alfredo di Stefano. That said, not like the Bernabeu would be buzzing though is it?

15:10

The players coming out of the tunnel now.

15:02

The bookies have Real at under 2/1 on with a draw at an attractive 9/2, an away win can be backed at around the 8/1 mark.

14:54

Every game for Real Madrid seems must win at the moment. A win here will pull them within five points of their city rivals at the top of the table, but Diego Simeone's side will still have two games in hand. Failing to win and Barcelona, above Real on goal difference will look the best unlikely bet to deny Atletico.

14:43

Valencia should take some heart from a respectable draw for at Athletic Bilbao last time out, after conceding three goals in defeats to leaders Atletico and Sevilla on their previous two away trips.

14:38

As for the visitors, their only change is Ferro making his first appearance since joining on loan from Benfica. He replaces Hugo Guillamon at the heart of Los Che defence.

14:29

Two changes for Real from their 2-0 victory over Getafe in the week. Daniel Carvajal comes in for Marcelo, with Ferland Mendy moving across to right back, and Toni Kroos starts in place of Marvin. It appears Zinedine Zidane will go with a slightly more defensive 4-3-3, rather than the 4-2-3-1 prefered on on Tuesday.

14:20

And this is the Valencia team who will take the field at the Estadio Alfredo Di Stefano..

14:17

This is how the champions are lining up...
