The Brazilian initially picks the ball up in the box, before playing it out to Modric on the right byline. The Croatian then gets the assist with a low cut-back across the face of goal, and Rodrygo has the easiest of tap-ins from a yard out.

The flag goes up shortly after Madrid score! Real attack again and Benzema has it on the left before the Frenchman picks out Rodrygo with a brilliant through ball. He strokes the ball home, but the flag goes up straight away.

Madrid come again - at this point their attacking output is relentless. Valverde runs directly through the centre of the park in midfield, before playing in Vinicius Jr. The Brazilian then cuts inside, but Postigo blocks the shot! So much action in the first half an hour of this game.

Vinicius Jr once again has the assist, as his cross from the left is met by Benzema's leaping header at the back post, leaving Cardenas with no chance in the Levante goal.

Modric swings in the cross from the left, which falls for Valverde at the back post. He stabs at the ball with an outstretched leg, but it smacks the upright and travels across the goal and goes wide on the other side!

Benzema is teed up by Rodrygo, and his shot from the edge of the box forces a diving save from Cardenas!
