Malouda has been tipped to win a French PFA award after an impressive season and, aged 26, feels it is time to move to a stronger league.
"There are big foreign clubs in England and Italy who have told me that they are interested and will contact Lyon," he claimed to Le Progres. "I am going to be very honest - I really want a try a new challenge."
"Last summer I had offers from other clubs following the World Cup," he claimed. "I never asked Lyon for a clause allowing me to leave, so I am hoping that they pay me back in kind.
"I know I have a long contract but the possibility to get to a higher level won't occur next season, and Lyon could make some good money out of this."
Malouda - who has a contract until 2011 - has been linked to Arsenal, Chelsea and Milan.
