Marseille keep faint Champions League hopes alive

Olympique de Marseille kept their remote hopes of qualifying for next season’s Champions League alive with a 3-1 Ligue 1 win at En Avant Guingamp on Saturday.

Luiz Gustavo and Lucas Ocampos found the back of the net in the first half as Marseille moved up to fourth place with 54 points from 33 games.
Yeni Ngbakoto pulled one back for the hosts 10 minutes into the second half but Valere Germain added a third for Marseille in stoppage-time.
They trail third-placed Olympique Lyonnais by five points with five games left.
The top three qualify for the Champions League with the third-placed team having to go through the third qualifying round of Europe’s elite club competition.
Guingamp are second-bottom on 24 points, eight from safety.
