Bernat, 25, has signed a three-year contract with the French champions after being targeted by new head coach Thomas Tuchel this summer.
“I am very proud to be joining Paris Saint-Germain,” said Bernat. “After my debuts in Spain and my experience in Germany, I will discover a new country and, above all, a new club who have made a spectacular rise in recent years.
Paris Saint-Germain are known throughout Europe, with world-class players, the magnificent Parc des Princes and very big ambitions. I am also looking forward to working under Thomas Tuchel, whose work in Germany was remarkable. I am truly excited to be taking the next step of my career with Paris.
Bernat won four successive league titles in his four seasons with Bayern following a £7.9m move from Valencia.
The deal was confirmed on French deadline day.
“We are very happy to welcome Juan Bernat,” said chairman Nasser Al-Khelaïfi. “Juan has a solid experience after playing for two big European clubs along with his status as a Spain international.
He joins us with big ambitions, a desire to keep progressing in a squad of great players and add a new dimension to his career. Juan also has the character our supporters love.
