Former Spurs flop Paulinho, now impressing for Barcelona, also starts in midfield along with Casemiro and Renato Augusto.
England boss Gareth Southgate has handed Ruben Loftus-Cheek a second chance to impress.
The 21-year-old midfielder, on loan at Crystal Palace from Chelsea, put in a man-of-the-match display on his senior debut as England claimed a goalless draw with world champions Germany on Friday.
Elsewhere, there are starts for Marcus Rashford and Jamie Vardy, while Eric Dier retains the captaincy.
England: Hart; Walker, Gomez, Stones, Maguire, Bertrand; Livermore, Loftus-Cheek, Dier; Rashford, Vardy.
Brazil: Alisson; Alves, Marquinhos, Miranda, Marcelo; Paulinho, Casemiro, Augusto; Coutinho, Gabriel Jesus, Neymar.
