Boss Nuno Espirito Santo insists Wolves’ slump is nothing to worry about.
Wolves have lost their last three games – the first time under Nuno they have suffered three successive defeats in the league.
A 3-2 defeat to Tottenham last Saturday followed losses to Watford and Brighton to stall Wolves’ fine start to the season.
They go to Arsenal on Sunday but Nuno, October’s Manager of the Month, remains unconcerned over the run.
Nuno said: “We’re not in the best moment but we have to react to it. In every moment it’s a challenge for us because we have to get better. You have to challenge yourself and improve yourself.
“You cannot get results if you don’t perform well, that’s what I think and defend.
“We reacted well from the bad performance against Watford, we didn’t achieve the result against Brighton or Tottenham but we performed well.
“We work to perform better and well and then we try to achieve the result. We don’t think about the result first – no matter what it’s perform well, do your tasks and try to win.
“We chased the result against Tottenham and gave everything we could and there were a lot of positives but there were a lot of negatives. We have to improve.”
Diogo Jota missed last week’s defeat to Tottenham with a hamstring injury but has returned to training and is available for the game at the Emirates.
Nuno added: “Today (Friday) he started training with the team and did his rehabilitation work at the beginning of the week. Now he is with the squad and he’s an option, fortunately for us.”
