Oldham appoint Frankie Bunn as manager
The 55-year-old replaces Richie Wellens who was sacked last week following the Latics’ relegation to League Two.
Oldham have appointed Frankie Bunn as their new manager.
The 55-year-old has signed a one-year contract to return to the club at which he once scored 35 goals in 88 appearances, and succeeds the recently-sacked Richie Wellens.
“He knows the club very well from his playing time here and he has a wealth of experience working with young talent which has impressed me,” the League Two club’s owner Abdallah Lemsagam told their official website.
“I believe he can take the club forward and give Boundary Park something to cheer about.”
