Porto sign in-demand French midfielder Giannelli Imbula

Porto have announced the signing of France Under-21 international Giannelli Imbula from Olympique Marseille, hours after confirming that striker Jackson Martinez will join Atletico Madrid.

Imbula will cost Porto around 20 million euros (£14.2m) from Marseille, with Porto revealing he has a release clause of 50 million euros.
The Belgium-born 22-year-old plays as a defensive midfielder and is tipped for a fine future and was highly sort this summer.
AC Milan and Southampton are both believed to have bid for Imbula but, for now, he will continue his career in Portugal.
